Handler Classes Class #/Day Tue Wed Thu Class Name 126 Adult Amateur Handler – To be shown in hand by an Amateur. To be judged on presentation and handling of the animal to the judge, neatness and appearance of the handler and the grooming, turnout and overall condition of the animal. This class is intended to stimulate participation of the Amateur in the Breeding division and does not limit that person to this class. Stallions are permitted. In the Dressage Division, individuals are only eligible to compete as amateurs from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach age 22. 127 Youth Handler –To be shown in hand by Handlers aged 12 to 21. To be judged on presentation and handling of the animal to the judge, neatness and appearance of the handler and the grooming, turnout and overall condition of the animal. This class is intended to stimulate participation of the Juniors and Young Riders in the Breeding division and does not limit that person to this class. No stallions or colts except weanlings.
