1'+lt1"~ national honor society of nursing Volume 3, May 1977 Sr. Rosemary Donley Awarded Health Policy Fellowship for 1977-78 Sr. Rosemary Donley, Ph.D., Eta Chapter, National President of Sigma Theta Tau, has been awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellowship for 1977-78. This fellowship provides for a year's study and congressional work assignments in Washington. The Health Policy fellowships were established by the Institute of Medicine four years ago and are conducted in cooperation with the American Political Science Association (APSA). The program is designed to provide a better understanding of major issues in health policy and a knowl'edge of how federal health programs are established. Sr. Rosemary is the only nurse and woman among the six recipients honored this year. The recipients are outstanding mid-career professionals working in academic health settings. The development of policy-knowledgeable faculty members in health professional schools is expected to foster an awareness of government health activities throughout SR.
