Child and Family Health (CFH) Nursing: CFH Nursing Rotation – Involves home visiting, clinics and parenting groups. CFH Nursing practice areas include: Infant/Child Health Surveillance & Screening, Psychosocial Assessment Risk Prevention & Early Intervention and Promoting Supporting & Protecting Breastfeeding. For the Westmead Rotation – graduates rotate between the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Women’s Health Clinics and Maternity Care. The program exposes the GradStart Nurses to different clinical areas and gives them a greater understanding of the journey for families through both CFH Nursing and W&NH Services. The program also assists the GradStart Nurse to look at their future career and plan ongoing study which may include: Graduate Certificate of Child & Family Health Nursing, Graduate Certificate of Neonatal Nursing or Graduate Diploma of Midwifery.
