PICKWELL’S BREAKOUT YEAR After playing behind two of the most prolific scorers in program history (Siarre Evans/TaRonda Wiles), Natalie Pickwell finally had the opportunity to showcase her talents on the hardwood in 2010-11 … the Kingsport, Tenn. native started all 31 games for the Blue and Gold in 2010-11 and averaged 11.7 points, while netting 70 of ETSU’s 151 three-pointers … the 70 three-point field goals made rank fourth all-time in the Lady Buccaneer single season record books … Pick- well also ranked second in the A-Sun in 3-point field goal percentage (39.8) and fifth in 3-point field goals made (2.3) … the rising senior scored at least 20 points in five games and registered 18 double figure scoring games – includ- ing a career-high 24-point effort versus North Florida on Feb. 12.

MITCHELL EXPLODES ONTO THE SCENE Destiny Mitchell impressed the Lady Buccaneer faithful in her first 24 games last season, before injuring her knee in the first half vs. UNF back on Feb. 12, 2011 … the Bluffton, Ga. native recorded 11 double-doubles, averaged 14.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and shot 51.8 percent from the field … the freshman guard/forward ranked second in the A-Sun in field goal percentage, fifth in steals (2.2) and rebounding, and sixth in scoring.

EVANS UPDATE After guiding the Lady Bucs to three straight A-Sun titles and two regular sea- son crowns, fellow ETSU standout Siarre Evans has taken her talents overseas … Evans, who played for team Racing in Luxembourg in 2010-11, just wrapped up playing in Greece for Apollon Ptolemaidos …Evans averaged 17.0 points and 12.7 rebounds in 36.9 minutes per game (seven total games this season) ... Evans has recently signed with FORSSAN ALKU - FOA (team out of Finland) and reports to camp next week.

75 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER Since the 2002-03 season the Lady Bucs are 100-13 when the Lady Buccaneers hit the 75-point plateau, including 71-9 since the 2006-07 … however, the Lady Bucs are 0-2 this season when scoring over 75 points (scored 76 vs. Tenn Tech and 77 at UNC).
