The Barrington Fire Department delivers on this commitment every day, every shift, and every emergency call. 15 Committee of the Whole 6:00 pm For many years the Barrington Fire Department has provided service by agreement to the much larger 15 Board of Trustees 8:00 pm Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District (BCFPD or “District”). The District encompasses a 45-square 16 Bike & Pedestrian Com 7:00 pm mile area, far larger than Barrington’s 5 square mile area. The current agreement’s term expires at the end 23 Plan Commission 7:00 pm of 2013. 25 Sesquicentennial Com 7:00 pm In 2012, the District asked the Village to hire seven additional firefighters/ paramedics to serve in the Dis- trict’s two stations. Upon carefully reviewing this request, the Village determined that call volume (average 25 Architectural Review 7:00 pm of 1.4 and 1.8 calls per day from each District station) does not support the need for additional personnel.
