The top high school cricket players from the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) will compete in the NYC Mayor's Cup Cricket All-Star Games for a chance to be named the "Best in the City."

Schedule 11am: Semifinal #1: Queens Team #1 vs. Bronx/Manhattan Semifinal #2: Queens Team #2 vs. Brooklyn 3pm: Championship Match

Eligibility All cricket players who attend PSAL high schools are eligible to be selected to represent their respective boroughs.

Waivers Each player is required to bring a signed waiver (below) to the field to participate in the game. If the player is under the age of 18, this waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Player and Coach Selection Players and coaches will be selected by PSAL cricket officials. PSAL cricket officials are responsible for sending four separate team rosters which include the following information to Jeff Mohl ([email protected]) by Friday, June 14th at 5:00PM o Player Names o School o T-shirt Size

Rosters Each team will consist of 15 players.

Match Formats The two semifinal matches will be played with a maximum of 15 overs. The championship match will be played under the Twenty20 rules (maximum of 20 overs).

Admission Admission is FREE for all spectators.

Transportation By car: From Henry Hudson Parkway (9A): Take exit 23A for US-9 S/Broadway. Turn right onto U.S. 9 S/Broadway. Continue 0.5 miles and the cricket fields will be on the left, just south of the Tortoise and Hare Sculpture. From I-87N: Take exit 11 for Van Cortlandt Pk So. Take a sharp right onto Van Cortlandt Pk S. In 0.2 miles turn right onto Broadway. Continue for 0.4 miles and the Cricket fields will be on the right.

By subway: Take the 1 Train to the 242nd Street station. Walk north on Broadway to 246th Street, the Cricket fields will be on the right.

2013 NYC Mayor’s Cup Cricket All-Star Games Waiver If the participant is not 18 years old, the waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian and brought to the event. I, for myself, my child and anyone entitled to act on our behalf, waive and release NYC and Company and all of its assignees from all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind arising from my child’s participation in the NYC Mayor’s Cup Cricket All-Star Games. I also grant permission of the foregoing entities to use or authorize to use my child’s name, image or likeness for reproduction, display, duplication, distribution, direct exhibition, publication and broadcast in any media, including television, Internet and print, in any and all media and types of advertising and promotion, without limitation whatsoever, in perpetuity without any compensation.
