Two bachelors, one apartment, a great evening of fun!
Felix Ungar, a neurotic, neat freak newswriter is thrown out by his wife, and moves in with his friend, Oscar Madison, a slovenly sportswriter. Despite Oscar’s problems – careless spending, excessive gambling, a poorly kept house filled with spoiled food – he seems to enjoy life.
Felix, however, seems utterly incapable of enjoying anything and only finds purpose in pointing out his own and other people’s mistakes and foibles. Even when he tries to do so in a gentle and constructive way, his corrections and suggestions prove extremely annoying to those around him. Oscar, his closest friend, feels compelled to throw him out after only a brief time together, though he quickly realizes that Felix has had a positive effect on him.
Tickets for The Odd Couple are $30, $25, and $20. Student rush tickets may be available 30 minutes prior to show time for $15 with school ID (based on availability), one ticket per ID.

Our Fringe Series production of The Night We Bombed Lincoln Towing will run concurrently with The Odd Couple and will play on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, September 15, 16, 22, & 23 at 7pm. All performances are $15.
The Night We Bombed Lincoln Towing was the winner of our 2014 New Play Festival and will kick off this season’s New Play Festival with an encore performance on Sunday, October 4, 2015. The New Play Festival will run Sunday October 4 – 8. A different play will be given a staged reading each night of the festival. Admission to the festival is FREE!
IN THE GALLERY AT CENTRE STAGE The art of Melinda Hoffman will be on display September 4, 2015 through November 6, 2015, Tuesday through Friday from 2-6 p.m. The exhibit is presented in cooperation with the Metropolitan Arts Council. This partnership is sponsored by South State Bank.
