1. Principal’s Report

Government College Ranapur established in 2015 in as Naveen Mahavidhayalaya. It is a rural area institute which aims to provide higher education to the students who belong to the remote areas of jhabua district because it covers so many remote areas.

Previous year to till now we proceed to get owned building which resulted as college has been allotted building land and is in under construction. At present the College is running in a school building wherein 1 office room and 2 classrooms are allotted. The college offers two UG Degree courses B.A. & B.Com. Currently the College has 207 students enrolled in courses.

The College has qualified 11 guest faculties and 4 outsource members in staff. Students are taking benefits of the various welfare schemes of the government. Various activities of the college are being conducted through different organizing Committees such as Swami Vivekanand Carrier Guidance & Personality Development Cell performs various activities to enhance student’s personality and skills to grab future job opportunities; Grievance Redressal Cell, Anti-Ragging Committee and Sexual Harassment Redressal Cell deal with students’ issues and needs. The college has library and also started NSS and NCC units.

3. Senior Management Team & Board of Governors

Principal is the chief authority of the organization and has all administrative powers to ensure proper management through various committees in the institution. An action plan is prepared for the year which contains policies, objectives and feedback of the previous year, received from the beneficiaries. The Principal holds meetings with committees to assess and ensure their functioning and proper implementation of schemes. Principal monitors the working of the Institute and motivates the faculty members to promote quality circle; to take active participation in seminars, workshops, conferences; to maintain quality in teaching, learning & evaluation and directs the non-teaching staff to execute their functions in a prescribed time.

 Regular classes are taken by the teachers so that courses could be completed on time.  Regular monitoring of Academic and administrative activities by the Principal of the College.  Activities conducted to enhance student’s personality, Social behavior.

 WEAKNESS  College has not owned building yet. It is in under construction.

 CHALLENGES

 The Institute has not owned building but doing best to provide good facilities to the scholars with limited available sources. In future the college is looking for owned building so it will be easy handed to set up all the facilities in the college provided by UGC, Higher Education MP, University and RUSA.

 To gathered and benefited all Students at similar platform with different Socio-economical backgrounds and gender.
