COLLINS on BUIE... "I think for a first-year point guard to play in the Big Ten, there's no more baptism by fire than what Boo went through last year. And you couple that with him having a broken foot in the middle of the season, I thought he came back at the end of the year and showed some bright spots. And now he's really armed and equipped with what it takes to be successful at that position. He's picking and choosing his spots–when to be aggressive and when to get others involved–the game is slowing down for him, and he's starting to figure it out. When you have that guy that's playing at a high level and leading at a high level, you have a chance to be successful. And those are the things we expect out of Boo, and we're excited to see the jump he can make from last year into his sophomore year."

Ryan is solid as a rock, he knows the game, he understands what he does well, he has the ability to organize and lead as well as any of our guards out there. And I've seen him now add confidence to his offensive game, which to me was the next step. You watch the film and you see the things that he brings–on the court, behind the scenes, in the locker room, the intangibles–and those are the kind of guys you need to have a winning team and that's what Ryan can bring to our team.

And to see the jump that he made last year from his first year to his sophomore year and go from a 4-6 point (per game) guy to 12-14. He was, in my opinion, one of the most improved guys in the Big Ten last year. He had a really good, he's arguably our hardest worker, he's a gym rat, and his ability to make shots and stretch the defense, and be a weapon for us out on the floor is going to be something that we're going to really rely on. We're going to need him to not only be that guy he was last year, but to take that next step and be even better in all aspects. And I know that's something he' s hungry for, he's really stepped up now as a junior as a leader, and we're looking for big things from Miller this year and are excited to see what he can become.

COLLINS on YOUNG... "I thought Ryan, quietly, was a guy that could've been an All-Freshman Team selection in the conference last year. From game one to game 31, I thought he was as consistent as anybody we had. And he was thrown into the fire against some of the best bigs that I've seen as a collection last year in the Big Ten. I think he has a better understanding of what it takes to be successful at this level, he's tried to continue to add to his game and become a little bit better shooter from outside the paint. Ryan is a guy that I'm really excited about where he's at, but also where he's headed. Robbie was a guy that we recruited to have a big impact in our program, we threw him into the fire last year and he started a lot of games. He knows what it takes now to be successful, and he's a big key to what we're building–not only for this year, but for our future. With his size, his skill level, his defensive versatility on the glass, he brings a lot of things to the table that are going to help us win this year, and I'm excited to see what he can be this year as a sophomore.
