ST. ANTON, AUSTRIA, March 3 – 11, 2017 (Friday – Saturday), with optional Barcelona extension March 11 – 15 (Saturday – Wednesday) SINGLE FEMALE NEEDED. LAST CHANCE to join SSC as we travel to one of the world’s top ski resorts, “the cradle of Alpine skiing”, St. Anton, Austria. (The few remaining seats must be dropped soon to avoid penalty.) This quaint, historic village is nestled at the foot of the Tyrolean Alps (4,278 feet), and was host to the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2001. As part of the Arlberg area of ski resorts, the region includes 94 cable cars and ski lifts with access to 212 miles of groomed trails (43% novice, 41% intermediate, 16% advanced). SKI4LIFE ~ February 4, 2017 Were you dreaming of fluffy white powder during the dog days of summer? Is winter your favorite season? Do you want to have a fun day skiing and help raise money to fight blood cancer? Then you’re our kind of person! Join us at Roundtop Mountain Resort for the 13th annual Ski4Life event benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Ski4Life is a 6-hour ski and snowboard marathon, where participants raise money to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. By participating in Ski4Life, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding while supporting a great cause! The registration fee covers the cost of each participant’s lift ticket. Ski4Life participants also enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner provided by sponsors and friends of LLS. Prizes are awarded for top individual and team fundraisers, vertical feet challenge, and the most online contributions. Participants can register online as individuals or as a team of four.
