THE ACTA EXECUTIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER THE PROGRAMME Page 2 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY NATIONAL ISSF DISCIPLINE CHAMPIONSHIPS 1. In the event of any shooter not being able to produce his/her handicap card, a duplicate shall be issued for the duration of the National Championships. This card will then be forwarded to the Club Secretary to enable scores shot to be recorded. Note: A fee of $20 will be charged for the issue of any duplicate handicap card. 2. Targets to be shot in brackets of 25 for Olympic Trap and ISSF Skeet with squads of 6 shooters where possible. In Double Trap targets to be shot in brackets of 25 Pair (50 targets) with squads of 6 shooters where possible. 3. Pre Nominations to be received by close of business (Eastern Summer Time) Friday 4th January 2013. There is a maximum of 126 competitors for ISSF Trap. If pre nominations exceed this number a standby list of 20 will be created and used in case of withdrawals. If any vacancies exist in the program, it will be on a “first in” basis at an additional cost of $10.00 per event to enter. Nominations at the championships close at 10.00am the day prior to the event if a vacancy exists. Nominations have been reduced, as there is no prize money awarded. 4. Shooter will be squadded as per ISSF rules and regulations and any interpretation of this will be the responsibility of the Tournament Director. Once squadding for an event has been completed, a shooter shall not be entitled to a refund if they withdraw. Withdrawals after nominating and before squadding will be accepted in writing 48 hrs prior to the event. 5. Each shooter is to take enough cartridges to shoot the applicable event. 6. Shooters who fail to appear in time for their squad will be penalised by the LOSS OF THREE TARGETS. 7. Should a shooter being late for his squad then elect to withdraw from the event he shall not be eligible for any refund of nominations paid. 8. All shooters must sign the score sheet after each round. Once a shooter has signed his score sheet he has accepted his score. Any score sheet not carrying the shooters signature will be credited with the lowest recorded. 9. Any competitor may be called upon to referee and/or score throughout the period of competition. The persons designated to referee/score or line referee must fulfil their obligation to do so or have obtained the service of a suitable replacement that must be ready to take his place at the required time. In the event of the designated persons or their replacement not being ready to take their place at the required time, the person initially designated to fill the specific role may INCUR A PENALTY AS PRESCRIBED UNDER INTERNATIONAL RULES. 10. Setting and adjusting of traps is the sole responsibility of Shoot Management. Any unauthorised shooter interfering with or attempting to interfere with the trap will be penalised up to FIVE (5) TARGETS. 11. All disputes must be in writing together with a $20 deposit, which is refundable subject to the appeal being upheld. 12. All disputes and deposits must be lodged with the Tournament Director who shall arrange a hearing with the appointed jury. 13. When team selection is involved, shooters are eligible for section nominated. To be eligible for selection in any team, competitors must have competed in a clear majority of programmed events. 14. High Gun awards are determined for each section. To be eligible for the High Gun recognition, competitors must have competed in a clear majority of programmed events for each respective High Gun. Gold Australia High Gun badges are only awarded when there are 20 or more competitors in a section. 15. Women shooters are eligible for their section only. Junior shooters are eligible for OA or their section and grade. Except in Double Trap. 16. Anyone participating in the practice of card playing at the National Championships is expected to be considerate of the requirements of others, and the presence and behaviour of card players must not cause inconvenience or disturbance. Tournament Director to adjudicate. Page 3 17. The ISSF Rules will be used to determine the OA placing in all events. 18. Juniors to be under the age of 21 in the year of competition. 19. Any interpretation of the program and conditions of entry will be the responsibility of attending members of the Executive Committee whose decision shall be final. 20. An acceptable standard of dress is required for all competitors - Tournament Director to adjudicate. As per ISSF Rules (clothing). 21. All competitors must comply with Firearms Licensing Laws of the state. (When held in W.A a shooter must obtain a permit to bring a firearm into that state).
