PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

 With special needs and special education students integrated into traditional classroom settings at a rapid rate, this program seeks to ensure that elementary education teachers have the tools necessary to respond to the needs of all students, manage inclusive classrooms and understand the challenges that are present for special education students.  The program is designed around four major themes: consultation and collaboration; inclusion and diversity; authenticity, and reflection, which are embedded within each course.  Fieldwork is a key component of the education program, but there is flexibility for those working full-time while attending graduate school.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS  This versatile program offers three areas of emphasis: literary study, creative writing and technical and professional writing, all of which are open to all students throughout their course of study.  Small classes and the dedicated attention of graduate faculty ensure a nurturing environment for growth.  Students may undertake a Career Internship in English in any one of several fields related to the study of writing and literature.  Students are encouraged to study abroad as a component of the program.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS  One of only a select few Master’s in Forensic Science programs accredited by the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC).  Offered on-site at The Center for Forensic Science Research & Education and NMS Labs state-of- the-art facilities.  Renowned American Board of Criminalistics (ABC) and American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT) certified faculty.  Guaranteed Internship at The Center for Forensic Science Research & Education.  Preparation for careers in private, state and federal agencies as well as other associated scientific disciplines.  Students can become recognized by the American Board of Criminalistics (ABC) by taking the Forensic Science Assessment Test (FSAT) prior to graduation.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS  Arcadia's Genetic Counseling program is one of 40 accredited programs in North America.  Clinical training is one of the program's greatest strengths, with individualized clinical opportunities at clinical genetics sites throughout the Delaware Valley.  The program meets the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC) for curriculum content, clinical experience and overall program design.  Received Full Accreditation for eight years from the ACGC in 2016.
