CCRW President’s Message We made it through the Primaries! Congratulations to all Republican Candidates that won their races. However, it is not time to rest yet. There are run-off elections to be decided on May 22nd. Please, please, please stay engaged. Get out and vote for the candidates of your choice. This battle is not over yet.

Congratulations as well to all Delegates elected at the Senatorial/County Conventions held on March 24th. Galveston County SD#11 Convention was well attended, orderly and quick, thanks to the outstanding leadership of Dr. Robin Armstrong who chaired the event. Huge thanks to all the volunteers (many from CCRW) who worked tirelessly to pull the convention together on short notice. Don't forget to send in your volunteer hours. Every minute spent on this convention counts!

Now we march on to State Convention in ! This is where, as elected Delegates, we participate in the shaping of the Republican Party by creating a platform, setting rules and electing people to run the party for the next 2 years. This is a serious responsibility, not to be taken lightly, as each Delegate represents about 300 voters. I am honored to have been elected a Delegate, along with many other CCRW members. Stay tuned for more information as the date gets closer.

Spring seems to have sprung, and along with it pollen fills the air and lungs! My sincere hope is that you are not being hit too hard and can enjoy this glorious weather.

May all of you have a most blessed and happy Easter!

Respectfully,

Lillian Murphy
