    NORTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPRING MEETING Tuesday, May 4, 2010 The spring meeting of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Board of Directors was called to order by President Allison Sholar at 8:30 a.m. at the Simon F. Terrell Building. Members in attendance included Diane Frost, Brooks Matthews, Kent Byrd, Chris Skabo, Stewart Hobbs, Bobby Guthrie, Page Carver, Chris Norman, Pat Burden, Rexanna Lowman, Regina Lambert, Kathy Spencer, Ernie Purnsley, Herman Little, Bill Miller, Shelly Marsh and Dwayne Stallings. Ex-officio members included Roger Morton of the Piedmont Officials Association, representing booking agents and officials, Mac Morris of the North Carolina Coaches Association and Joe White of the North Carolina School Boards Association, and David Gardner of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Absent was Jerry McGee. NCHSAA staff in attendance included Davis Whitfield, Carolyn Shannonhouse, Rick Strunk, Mark Dreibelbis, Karen DeHart, Que Tucker, and Pepper Hines. Allison Sholar welcomed the group and then turned it over to Davis Whitfield for a word of welcome. Motion to approve consent agenda items from 1-185 below (motion by Norman, second by Marsh, approved 21-0). The minutes of the previous Board meeting and the annual meeting were also approved as distributed previously (motion by Carver, second by Spencer, approved 21-0).
