Montana 4-H has 25,000 members, making it the largest out-of-school youth development program in the state. 4-H offers more than 100 different projects, which youth can enroll in to enhance their learning experience. This year to celebrate National 4-H Week, these members, with the help of 119 volunteer leaders, will set up window displays around the county to showcase their 4-H accomplishments and pride. Also in celebration, the Richland County Extension Office will be showing the PBS documentary titled “4-H: Six Montana Stories.” This documentary was made to commemorate the Montana 4-H Centennial in 2012. The movie will be shown on Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Richland County Extension Office. This event is open to anyone who wishes to see the movie and take part in a Richland County 4-H event.
