COPLA CAMPAIGN ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Statement of full support for the campaign by

c. Mercosur Parliament- “PARLASUR” in 2016. Presented by Lilia Puig de Stubrin, MP for the Mercosur Parliament.

2. Official Presentation of the project in the United Nations within the framework of the 16th Assembly of States Parties of the International Criminal Court in December 2017.

3. Official Presentation of the COPLA Preliminary Draft of the Statute for COPLA in the Law School of the University of with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Security and Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in November, 2017.

4. In the 72nd United Nations General Assembly, Gabriela Michetti gave new impetus to the creation of Latin American and Caribbean Criminal Court Against Organized Crime, in the City of New York City in September, 2017.

9. COPLA’s Preliminary Draft of Statute was included in the “Justicia 2020” platform, launched by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Argentina.

10. The COPLA campaign was presented before the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly chaired/ presided over by Ramón Jáuregui Atondo, at the seat of the European Parliament in the Strasbourg headquarters in February,2017.

11. The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights passed a resolution to create the “Committee of Experts on Corruption and Control of Organized Crime”. In said resolution, under subsection“d” of art. 3 is about advising COPLA, May,2016.
