Friends Arena is Sweden’s national arena and one of the world’s most modern arenas. Thanks to a clear view from all seats, the latest communication technology, a retractable roof, and excellent support services, all guests experience great moments
The arena holds up to 65 000 guests for concerts and 50 000 for sporting events. Friends Arena is home to the men's national football team and the AIK football team.

Away section:
Enter through gate H according to the arena further down.
Opening time: The arena opens 1,5 hours before the game starts.
Security check: All supporters will be searched by stewards when entering the arena. Pyrotechnics, bottles or anything that can be used as a weapon are prohibited at the arena.
Banners/Flags: There is about 50 meters of banner area in front of the away section. Flags or banners hanging in front cannot be higher than 2 meters, otherwise the flags or banners will block the view from the section below.
Flags with soft poles, drums and megaphones are allowed in the arena.
Supporter service at the away section
Food and drinks: Kiosks open before, during and after the game. Variety: Snacks, hot dogs, soda, candy and beer 3,5%. Payment options: Cash (Swedish krona) or Credit card. Toilets: Plenty of toilets.

Finding your way to Friends Arena
Friends Arena is located in the Arenastaden complex in Solna, just north of Stockholm. Construction work is still going on around the stadium, which means that accessibility may be limited when there are many people in the area. Allow yourself plenty of time and prepare for your visit by reading this information.
If you visit us, we ask that you: 1 – Arrive in good time before the event. 2 – Use public transportation. Arenastaden is closed to car traffic. 3 – Use the entrance stated on your ticket. Follow the signs in the area carefully.
GETTING TO FRIENDS ARENA
Commuter train (recommended for away supporters) Get off at Solna Station (see number 15 on the map), about 7 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. Walking from Solna Station to Friends Arena takes about 7-15 minutes. Stockholm Public Transport will provide extra mass transit services before and after the match. Follow the signs to the appropriate entrance.
Subway Get off at the Solna Centrum subway station, about 9 minutes from the central station. Walking from Solna Centrum to Friends Arena takes about 15-25 minutes. Stockholm Public Transport will provide extra mass transit services before and after the match. Follow the signs to the appropriate entrance.
Extra Stockholm Public Transport buses (before and after events) We recommend that guests who come by bus give themselves plenty of extra time as buses can get stuck in traffic around Arenastaden.

Taxis Taxis are available at the taxi stand after the events. See number 12 on the map below.
Cars We recommend that our guests use public transport first and foremost. On days of event Arenastaden is closed to car traffic and there is nowhere to park at the stadium. There is heavy traffic around Arenastaden during major events. If you still choose to take your car, you should allow a lot of extra time and park in regular parking lots in Solna. It is often better to choose park-and-ride at a commuter station and use public transportation the rest of the way.

Mobility service vehicles and cars with parking permits for the disabled Visitors arriving via mobility service vehicles, or who have their own car with a parking permit for the disabled, should drive to the only entrance for vehicular traffic at Sjövägen/Råsta strandväg. Drop-off and pick-up is near the Hx entrance. Note that the time given for the end of the event is approximate. If you order special transportation for the trip home, we recommend booking so you have about an hour’s leeway.
Pubs: We recommend old town which is about 30 minutes from Friends Arena. There is a large variety of pubs and restaurants in the old town, especially around “Kornhamnstorg” close to metro station “Gamla Stan” (Green or Red line).
