BROWARD COUNTY TRANSIT FACTS

In 2020/2021, Broward County Transit (BCT) is adding 147 new fixed route buses with free Wi-Fi, 5 OTR coaches, 4 articulated buses, 60 paratransit vehicles and 42 community shuttle buses. BCT continues to update our fleet to provide excellent service for our customers.

The fixed route buses travel between Broward, -Dade and Palm Beach counties every day of the week, including holidays, connecting to Miami-Dade Transit, and Tri-Rail. The entire bus fleet is air-conditioned, wheelchair and scooter accessible, and includes bike racks.

Service Area: 428 square miles within Broward County.

Telephone Requests: 357,785 Fiscal Year 2019 Community Shuttle Service: 18 municipalities have partnered with BCT: Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Pompano Beach, Tamarac, and West Park.

Hours of Operation: 4:30AM until 12:54AM (each route varies) Fares: Regular: $2.00, Regular Premium: $2.65, Youth/Senior/Disabled/Medicare: $1.00, Reduced Premium: $1.30, Children under 40”: Free Bus Passes: All Day pass ($5), 3 Day pass ($12), 7 Day pass ($20), 10 Ride pass ($20), 31 Day pass ($70), 31 Day Premium pass ($95), 10 Ride Premium pass ($26.50), 31 Day College Student pass ($50). Discounted prices available for youth, seniors, disabled and Medicare eligible persons.
