“Training cum Workshop on Editing Methods of Telugu Manuscripts”

Center of Excellence for Studies in Classical Telugu (CESCT) is organizing a seven days training cum Workshop for Telugu Research Scholars (Ph.D.), College / University Faculty up to Assistant Professors from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other States, who are engaged in the teaching in Telugu. Duration: Seven Days Workshop from 02.03.2020 to 08.03.2020. 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. (All Seven days) Venue: Centre of Excellence for Studies In Classical Telugu, Nellore. Who can participate: Telugu Research Scholars (Ph.D.), College / University Faculty up to Assistant Professors who are engaged in teaching of Telugu (Language & Literature) in recognized colleges (Preferably Government or Government Aided Institutions) or at University level. Note: Those who are willing to attend the workshop should get official deputation from their College / Department for the period of training programme from 2nd to 08 th March, 2020 (7 days). Purpose: The purpose of the programme is to train the Telugu scholars on Editing Methods of Telugu Manuscripts. The participants will be paid TA (Sleeper Class in Train / Normal Bus) as per the institute rules preferably in their bank accounts after the completion of the programme. Candidates are requested to bring the first page of their bank pass book. A simple vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided during the programme. Full attendance and active participation in the programme is essential to become eligible for compensation of any kind (i.e., TA).

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for selected outstation participants in Venkanna Swamy guest house, Golagamudi, Nellore District. Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Telugu will not make any arrangement for accompanying spouse / family members / friends at any cost. How to apply: Those who are willing to attend the Training cum Workshop can download the “Registration Form” from www.ciil.org . Take a printout, fill the form and send the scanned copy of the form (with the signature of the Head of the Department / Institution) to the [email protected] on or before 05:00 PM on 20.02.2020.
