Confused? WHAT IS AN ATA CARNET?

• Created in 1960’ under WCO ‘ATA Convention’ and ‘ Convention’. • ATA = Admission Temporaire/Temporary Admission • ATA Carnet is an international document permitting the -free and -free temporary export and import of goods for up to one year. WHAT IS AN ATA CARNET?

With an ATA Carnet, your goods may enter multiple countries, multiple times, using the same document, and without paying Customs duties and in a predefined period.

• ATA Carnet covers almost EVERYTHING. • Customs authorities accept ATA carnets based on the intended use of goods that they ratified.
