In His unbound love for the poor and downtrodden, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has blessed our Organisation to undertake meaningful Seva activities during times of crisis. In the present Covid 19 affected environment also our Organisation has reached out to the needy and poor daily wage earners and migrant workers all over Karnataka by providing them with Amruta Kalasa – provisions for their daily needs, since April 2020. A total of 19875 Amruta Kalasas have been distributed.

Now another opportunity came to render similar seva to the migrant workers, daily wage earners and other needy sections of Bangalore City. Over 2000 Amruta Kalasa kits were distributed during the period 5th to 15th July, 2020.

Each Amruta Kalasa consists of: Rice- 3 kgs Toor Dal – 1 kg Sugar- 1 kg Ragi flour- 1 kg

Totally 2022 Amruta Kalasas were distributed in Bangalore City through the six Districts as under: Bangalore Central: 430 Bangalore East.. :120 Bangalore North : 600 Bangalore Rural : 520 Bangalore South : 152 Bangalore West : 200

Members of the Samitis, youngsters, mahilas participated enthusiastically in this activity and reached out to the identified people in various colonies of Bangalore City.

Report of Amrit Kalash Distribution – Bangalore South District

As part of the Bangalore wide Amrit Kalash distribution to daily wage earners and migrant workers, Bangalore South district received 152 sets. One litre of oil was added locally for all the sets. The distribution was done on 9th and 10th July, 2020 in multiple locations.

•40 Sets in J P Nagar 7th Phase to school teachers, van drivers, school janitors who have lost their jobs / not received pay. The beneficiaries were identified in advance by one of our devotees and informed in advance – July 9, 2020

•76 sets to slum dwellers in Adugodi / Koramangala area. Tokens were issue one day in advance. The distribution was very smooth, with one co-ordinator from the beneficiaries side. The beneficiaries came in a very orderly manner, handed over the tokes and picked up their AKS – July 9,

•25 sets were distributed in a slum in Hulimavu / Arakere. One of our devotees who has been serving there for the past 11 years ensured that AKS was given only to the homemaker. Five children, who have learnt and shlokas over the past decade, lead the and chanted shlokas before the distribution - July 10, 2020

•2 AKS were given to the priests in Patalamma Temple in Jayanagar - July 10, 2020. A few more small temples who do not have any funding even to light lamps regularly, are being identified and the balance AKS will be distributed to the priests in these temples. Our deepest gratitude to for providing this opportunity to serve HIM through these Narayanas. We humbly offer this at HIS lotus feet.

Bangalore West District

Report on the Distribution of Amrutha kalasa Groceries bags to Daily Wage Earner Bangalore West District received 200 bags of Amrutha Kalasa consisting of the following items: Rice- 3 kgs Toor Dal – 1 kg Sugar- 1 kg Ragi flour- 1 kg

These bags were distributed to migrant construction workers in Bangalore West district The following areas were covered for distribution: Mariyappan palaya, University Road 100 bags Nagarbhavi Circle Mahalakshmi Layout------40 bags Annapurneshwari Nagar------25 bags Kurubarahalli area------10 bags Subramanyanagar------15 bags West of Chord Road area------10 bags

A survery was done by the youths a day before the distribution, and all the beneficiaries in the construction sites were informed about the distribution the next day. The Amrutha kalasa bags were received with all humility and contentment by the migrant construction workers.

BANGALORE CENTRAL Bhagawan’s prasadam of 450 Amruta Kalasa units were distributed among the poor and needy through various Samitis of the District. Members of the Samitis actively participated in identifying the needy persons and organised the distribution efficiently. As a part of Malleshwaram samithi Kits were distributed to Migrant workers working at sites of NHAI (National Highways Authority of ) at Nagasandra in Peenya Dasarahalli. All the workers were screened for thermal check, sanitised and with social distancing they were given kits. Top management of that office took time and gave away the kits Also many BBMP personnel & workers received Amrutha kalasha.

Ulsoor Samithi distributed to 40 daily wage workers around his residence It contained 3kg rice, 1kg toor dal, 1kg atta and 1kg sugar. This is to manage the lockdown period for them

Cantonment Samithi distributed Amrutha Kalasha to construction workers.Qty 50 kits.

Wilson Garden, Domlur, Sai Shruti and other Samitis also carried out distribution. Sai Darshan, Indira Nagar Samiti distributed to daily wage workers and migrant labourers in their area. Mahila Group of the District also went around the colonies of workers and distributed Swami’s prasadam of Amruta Kalasam.

BANGALORE EAST

This is the report on the distribution of the 120 No.s of Amrutha Kalashams received by Bangalore East District.

The kits containing the essential provisions were distributed by the sevadal members of the SSSIHMS, Whitefield Samithi on the evening of Saturday,11-Jul-2020 to daily wage workers staying in small settlements around the hospital in

 Nalluruhalli (Near Temple)  Pattandur Agrahara and  Basavannanagara.

BANGALORE RURAL By the blessings of Bhagavan, Bangalore Rural has distributed Amrutha Kalasha in Hoskote taluk. Totally 11 PHC centres Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, Attenders, Contractual Nurses and other covid warriors were benifitted . Taluk Health Officer and Anganvadi Supervisors cooperated in distribution. Totally 520 kits were distributed.

BANGALORE NORTH In the migrant construction workers dominated Bangalore North District, we distributed 600 Amruta Kalasa packets in the migrant colonies near Yelahanka and Nagavara areas. Youth volunteers actively participated in identifying the needy and organising the distribution strictly adhering to the Covid 19 regulations. It was Bhagawan’s grace that enabled us to undertake and complete this task.
