Micky Llewellyn was standing in for Stan at the Wednesday night Jam in the Waterhole, which was a good enough reason for Ingrid, Ilze and Beth to be there too.

This is our first photo of Lianne smiling, but that’s because she’s with Klaas, a real Dutchman in the Flying Dutchman.

Ross and Claire did a little set in the Old Nickel while Kim and Mick took a break, but a lack of guitars ruled out a Ted’s Shirt reunion.

Page 16 ROUND THE BARS It was a hot summer night, so Derek, Chef, Simon, Lizzie, Marijn, Pete and Josie were keeping their cool on Molly Malones’ terrace.

Yuri is the man behind the fan in Susie’s.

Mario came from behind the bar to be in the picture with Elyane, who’s been a Café Corso regular for 20 years.

Janet is planning a glamour calendar with Ex-pat mothers in aid of the Charity Chicken Foundation and we’re going to help.

Gijs has been working in the Poolhole since March, but his colleagues didn’t tell us about him.

Monday night in the Waterhole, with Karen, Koen and Rauli behind the bar.

It was Amy’s birthday, so she let Desiree and Siske do most of the work in The End. Behind the bar in Candela - Oskars!

Pim was behind the bar in Susie’s Saloon with Patricia, the latest addition to the crew.

First time we’ve had a photo of Wendy and Claudia together in the Stone’s Café.

No idea why Tim was lifting Alex, but who knows what goes through the minds of the bar staff in Coco’s Outback?

René was behind the bar in CC Muziekcafé with Frans, who’s making his Stun debut. Jan the Lazyman was in Maloe Melo, so we had to get a photo of him with Jur.

Page 19 OFF It said “One Night Stan” on the Waterhole’s blackboard, but Mickey was standing in for Stan.

They were queuing up to play at the Open Mic Night in Candela, which gave session leader Cezar time for a beer.

Daniel and Stijn were waiting in the wings for their turn to play on the Waterhole’s stage.

Rock n Roll Nico was in Maloe Melo for Maarten’s After-Midnight session.

Page 20 STAGE Kim had a Saturday night gig in the Old Nickel and Ross dropped in to see him play. Together, they were “Ted’s Shirt”, but Ross didn’t have his guitar with him, so no reunion.

Rory and Franck were having a drink on the Waterhole terrace with Jeroen, Daniel and Roy, who came there straight from the airport after touring Scotland with Kenny Bogan.

Micky played in the Old Quarter, then went to see his good friend Kim in the Old Nickel.

Just Tom’s back on the streets and loving it, but was contemplating playing at the Open Mic Night in Candela.

In Rockclub The Cave, Chiche had a quick flick through the photos to see who he knew, then stopped on the Jokes page.

Saturday night in Coco’s Mine with Rory, Miranda and Adriaan.

Natalie was back in town and behind the bar of the Blarney Stone with Samantha. Page 22 MORE BARS Louise and Patricia both appear in other photos in this Stun, but I’m sure nobody will complain about seeing them again.

Another Monday night in the Waterhole and this time, Rauli is posing with Eva.

Paul in Finnegan’s Rainbow probably read the sign behind him out loud after seeing who Ajax drew in the Champions League.

Nils is currently working in the Poolhole with Charlotte, but will be back in the Waterhole soon - at night!

Page 23 MORE Beatrice was on the terrace with friends & former Coco’s Outback colleagues Jaime, Kym and Liam.

Peter in the Old Nickel doesn’t usually pose for photos, but makes an exception when Berber is with him.

Julia and Derek persuaded Tom to join them for a photo in Molly Malone’s.

Albert works in the Old Nickel and Laura in the Old Quarter; does that make them an Old couple?

Alec and Alan haven’t been in the Stun for ages, so here they are, in Molly Malone’s.

Another couple, this time Deborah from the Old Quarter and Lesly from Casino City. Page 24 ROUNDS

Thomas, Chef, Jerry and Doran entered Molly Malones’ pub quiz under the name Weltmeister and were victorious.

Mark always finishes pub quiz night in Finnegan’s Rainbow with a “who originally sang this song” question. After 10 rounds, a tie-breaker was needed to separate the top two: What’s the population per km2 of Macau? Team Spirit had a good crack at it...

This is our very last photo of Molly Malone’s manager Steven as a single man; he married Muriel in Dublin last month!

But the Johnny Walker Suckers were closer, so they got the cash. Page 25 RODOS REUNION It’s hard to believe that 15 years have passed since the Rodos Bar on Sint Jacobsstraat closed its doors for the last time. I made a lot of good friends there, had some great times and it also played a key role when I first started making the Stun: All the regulars read the first edition and wanted more. After the Rodos closed down, the regulars dispersed to different bars all over the world and since the last reunion in 2005, only seem to meet up at funerals, so it’s time for action! After much discussion in the Rodos Bar group on Facebook, the date for next Rodos Bar Reunion has been set for Saturday 29th September in Café Amstelstroom, Edo won’t be in the Pint that night, he’s Weesperzijde 40, 1091 EE Amsterdam (next to going to the party. the bridge where tram 3 crosses the Amstel). For everyone who was there, would like to have been there, and all who want to go there , it will be a day of joy, recalling times at the famous Rodos Bar, honouring the days and creating brilliant new memories in the Rodos Bar spirit. The party kicks off at 16:00 because we’re hoping to see Rita there as Guest of Honour. Alien Joost hasn’t been active in the Facebook group, but will be at the party.

Mark said his fellow Shamrock Inn regulars Liza, Hazel and Sandra will be there too.
