#1188 The Revolution – The American Revolution and September 14, 1814, and the Greek Revolution and September 14, 1814

We are progressing from The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to The Patmos Revolution.

On September 14, 1814, in the city of (in modern , on the Black Sea), three Greek men founded Filiki Eteria (Philike Hetairia), meaning Friendly Company, a secret organization whose purpose was to overthrow the ’s rule over . The Friendly Company organized the movement against the Ottoman Turks that led to the full scale Greek War for Independence, also known as the Greek Revolution. The Greeks declared their independence on March 25, 1821, and their war for liberation from the Ottoman Turks lasted a decade. [More details on the history of the Friendly Company and its birth of the Greek War for Independence will be covered in the doc attached to Unsealing #1196.]

Key Understanding #1: September 14, 1814, and Patmos. This series is titled The Patmos Revolution, in part a reference to the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Turks, since one of the three men who founded Filiki Eteria, Emmanuel Ksanthos (Xanthos), was from the island of Patmos. The Apostle John received the contents of the Book of Revelation from the Lord when he was on Patmos. The purpose of this series is to explain why and how the Greek Revolution against the Turks was connected to the island of Patmos and the date of September 14, 1814, and the significance of that as concerns the Book of Revelation.

Key Understanding #2: September 14, 1814, and the United States of America. During the 2nd American War for Independence, on September 14, 1814 – the day of the morning of the dawn’s early light of Francis Scott Key’s “The Star-Spangled Banner” – three Greek men founded Filiki Eteria, which led to the successful Greek War for Independence against the Ottoman Turks.

[Reference Unsealing #1183.] Meanwhile, and amazingly so, the Greek War for Independence was birthed on the exact date of September 14, 1814, because that was the date of the birth of the Friendly Company, which organized the movement for the successful overthrow of Ottoman rule.

Revelation 1:9 (KJV) I JOHN, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, WAS IN THE ISLE CALLED PATMOS, for Anacreon the word of God, and for the AAnnaaccrreeoonn testimony of Jesus Christ.

“To Anacreon in Heaven” (chorus)

And besides I’ll instruct you Like me, to entwine The Myrtle of Venus With Bacchus’s Vine.
