5. Cost of participation in On-line Bid: Rs.10500.00 (incl. 5% VAT) for works from Sl. No. 01 to 15 and Rs. 6300.00 (incl. 5% VAT) for work at Sl. No. 16. No Engineer of Gazetted rank or other Gazetted Officer employed in Engineering or Administrative duties in an Engineering Department of the State Government is allowed to work as a Contractor for a period of two years after his retirement from Government service without Government permission. 9. (Registration Certificate) VAT clearance Certificate, PAN Card, Affidavit and EMD/ Bid Security, D.D. towards cost of participation on-line of Bid including all other required papers should be uploaded in web-site and submitted in Technical Bid (Cover-I) at the time of submission of Bid. Left Canal Division No.II, Dharamgarh, and (2) Office of the Sub Divisional Officer, U.I. Left Canal Sub- Division No.II, Dharamgarh in the specified tender boxes from 26.03.2016 to 30.03.2016by 5.00 PM. The bidder is not required to write his/her name on the sealed cover. The bidders shall furnish an affidavit at the time of submission of the bid, about the authenticity of the tender including documents, Registration Certificate, PAN Card, valid VAT clearance certificate and EMD etc. failing which the bid shall be considered as non-responsive and thus liable for rejection. 10. Contractor exempted from payment of EMD will be able to participate in the tender directly by uploading documentary evidences towards his eligibility for such exemption. 11. Additional performance Security : When the bid amount is up to 10 % less than the estimated cost, no additional performance security is required to be deposited. When the bid amount is less than the estimated cost by more than 10 % and within 15 %, in such an event, the successful bidder will deposit the additional performance security to the extent of 1.5 times of the differential cost of the bid amount and 90 % of the estimated cost in shape of NSC / STDR /TDR from any Nationalised Bank and duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer Upper Indravati Left Canal Division No. –II, Dharamgarh prior to drawl of agreement. 12. The Contractors shall have to furnish a certificate along with the tender to the effect that he/she is not related to any officer of Water Resources Department of the rank of Asst. Engineer and above connected with the estimate, tender and execution of work and any officer of the rank of Under Secretary or above. 13. If any discrepancy is found after opening of technical bid as well as financial bid the tender inviting authority may ask such bidder to furnish information / documents as required within five days. 14.
