TERMS & CONDITIONS Isti-MAE-wa Raya Isti-MAE-wa Raya (“Campaign”) is organised by Malayan Banking Berhad (3813-K) (“Maybank”) and shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Customers (as defined in Clause 1 below) expressly agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 1.0 Eligibility and Platform a) This Campaign is open to all Maybank Anytime Everywhere (“MAE”) individual customers in Malaysia (“Eligible Customers”) performing transactions with MAE, or crediting funds from MAE account (“Eligible Transactions”). b) This Campaign is only accessible through the Maybank App. c) This Campaign is open for individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age and above with valid identification document. For individuals below the age of eighteen (18) years (“minor”), they must obtain the consent of their parent and/or legal guardian to participate in this Campaign. The use of MAE is deemed as a confirmation to Maybank that the minor has obtained the prior consent of the minor’s parent and/or legal guardian. These Terms and Conditions will be binding on the minor’s parent and/or legal guardian. 2.0 Campaign Mechanics and Conditions a) This Campaign commences on 1st June 2019 and end on the 4th July 2019 (“Campaign Period”), both dates inclusive. b) This Campaign supplements the current ongoing campaigns namely QRPay 31% Promotion and Raya Returns. c) This Campaign has three (3) sections: Isti-MAE-wa Raya Rewards, QRPay 31% Promotion and Send e-Duit Raya & earn Raya Rewards. 3.0 Section 1 of 3: Isti-MAE-wa Raya Rewards This section consists of 4 different bundles (Makan Bundle, Jelita Bundle, Rilek Bundle and Shop-shop Bundle) that Eligible Customers can spend on using Maybak QRPay via MAE. Each bundle consists of different participating merchants (see Appendix I). During the campaign period, Maybank shall enable and facilitate the provision of chances of winning the extra cash prizes below for the top 30 winners based on the highest transaction volume and number of times split bill request is sent (with successful payments). No discount will be given once the quota is utilised. e) In the case where a transaction is processed with the provision of such discount per (a) and (b) above and such transaction occurs with a merchant not listed in Appendix I for any reason including due to undisclosed or undiscovered technical failure, regardless of whether the transaction was made inadvertently or maliciously, Maybank reserves the right to immediately take appropriate actions on the Eligible Customer’s account to recover the amount. 5.0 Section 3 of 3: Send e-Duit Raya & earn Raya Rewards There are two ways for Eligible Customer may receive cash rewards (Raya Rewards) when sending e-Duit Raya in the Maybank app: a) Using the Raya Returns function and sending e-Duit Raya either through ‘Send e- Duit Raya with QRPay’ or ‘Send e-Duit Raya with MAE’; b) Accessing the MAE dashboard, swiping up on Money Out and selecting either ‘Send e-Duit Raya’ or ‘Raya QR’. 5.1 With RayaQR, Eligible Customers must scan the recipients’ QR code. For the recipient, they have to launch their QRPay function and choose ‘Receive’ to produce their unique QR code to the Duit Raya sender. Both sender and recipient must be physically present. The sender will stand a chance to receive Raya Reward from Maybank when the transaction is successful. 5.2 With ‘Send Money’, Eligible Participants will have to choose the eDuit Raya function in MAE and choose the recipient name through their contact list. The sender will stand a chance to receive Raya Reward once the money has been transferred successfully in the recipient’s MAE account. 5.2.1 If the receiver is already registered with MAE, the eDuitRaya will immediately be credited into the recipient’s accounts. 5.2.2 If the receiver is not registered with MAE, the eDuit Raya will only be credited from the sender’s account once the recipients MAE account has been successfully activated. The sender will be informed that recipient is not yet a MAE customer and able to send a message to encourage the opening of MAE account to receive the eDuitRaya to the recipient. 5.3 Only senders of e-Duit Raya are eligible to receive Raya Reward from Maybank. A minimum of RM5 per e-DuitRaya must be transacted in order to be eligible for the Raya Reward. 5.4 There is no limit to the number of times a sender can send Duit Raya to the same recipient. However, only the first e-Duit Raya transaction will receive the Raya Reward. There is a maximum number of five (5) times Raya Reward that can be earned from each unique user or receiver which will be based on a randomizer engine. The randomizer will determine to sequence of Raya Reward that the sender will get when sending to the same receiver more than once. 5.5 The amount of each Raya Reward is completely at random and amount of Raya Reward is not dependent on the amount of e-Duit Raya sent. 5.6 The minimum age to receive e-Duit Raya via MAE is 12 years old. This follows the minimum age requirement to open a MAE account. 5.7 Raya Reward will be generated upon recipient successfully receiving the e-Duit Raya whether it’s through QRPay or MAE. 5.8 Raya Reward will be credited directly to the sender’s MAE account instantly once recipients has successfully received the e-Duit Raya.
