Governor Ige presented the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency with a proclamation on Friday, Sept. 8 , 2017 at the ceremonial office. Attendees included Gen. Hara, Gen. Oliveira (R), Department of Emergency Management , Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Weather Service and Amateur Radio Club. HI- EMA is recommending residents prepare an emergency kit of a minimum of 14 days of food, water and other supplies.
