Short Biography . 365 TO THE THIRD EDITION From the Author Everyone who is familiar with the first and second editions of this book will easily see the fundamental difference between the third edition and the two previous ones . Nevertheless, I would like to say a few words about the reasons for the appearance of this publication . The contemporary world is changing rapidly and dynamically . At the same time, the increasing impact of globalization on almost all spheres of social life becomes more evident . This is manifested, first of all, through intensified contradictions in the international arena, where, in the absence of global ethics and global law, many international actors use all possible means to achieve their goals . This poses a serious threat to the world security and to the sus- tainable development of the world community . Hence, there is at the moment a persistent attention to global processes and pros- pects of social development in the context of multidimensional globalization . Publishing the third, revised and expanded, edition of the book in English primarily intends to acquaint the English-speaking reader with some philosophical research in the field of global studies, carried out in Russia, particularly, in recent years . There are several reasons behind publishing this new version of the book . First, its two previous editions (2010, 2015) have found their reader, and are completely sold out . Second, serious changes have taken place in the world over the past few years . These changes are reflected in the increasing contradictions and tensions in international relations . As a re- sult, we have again entered the state of a new cold war . These issues are vividly debated in contemporary global studies; the debates have already been reflected in many publications by both 8 TO THE THIRD EDITION Russian and foreign researchers, including the author of this book . Finally, having published the second edition of the collection of selected articles (2015), I completed my multiannual work on the trilogy dedicated to the theory of globalization, and released (in 2018) the third — final — volume dedicated to the clash of interests in the global world . Within that period I had also been written several key articles on the topical issues of contemporary globalization, and had edited several reference books and collec- tive volumes, which reflected the latest trends in understanding the contemporary global world . All these circumstances were taken into consideration while preparing the publication of this edition that includes some of the above-mentioned new works, as well as informs about the new reference books published under my edition . Presenting the third edition of my book to a wide audience, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my friends and colleagues, with whom I had the privilege to collaborate for many years in the new interdisciplinary field of philosophy and science — global studies . And finally, I would like to cordially thank the outstanding philosophers and scientists who, despite their busy lives, have taken the time and attention to express their attitude to all three editions of this book in their introductory remarks and prefaces . Moscow, January 2020 Alexander N. Chumakov Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Faculty of Global Processes, Lomonosov Moscow State University Contemporary World in the Mirror of Philosophy of Globalization Today the understanding of globalization processes is more urgent than ever . The unifying world is changing its goals and values, creating a situation of uncertainty in the solution of many questions that seemed traditional yesterday . In this regard, the 9 TO THE THIRD EDITION third edition of the book on the philosophy of globalization is very timely and meets the pressing needs of our time . The phi- losophy of globalization, as a mirror, reflects both positive and negative consequences of those global processes that today have threatened the existence of humanity . The author of the book is an outstanding Russian philosopher, recognized by the world scientific community as an authority in the field of globalistics, ascetic and educator Alexander Niko- layevich Chumakov . Included in the first cohort of Russian re- searchers of global problems, today he is a leader in the study of globalization . His works have been translated into many languag- es, he is a visiting professor at many universities in the world, his name appears in the editorial boards of many authoritative jour- nals, he is the founder of the journal “The Age of Globalization”, the creator of the interdisciplinary seminar “Actual Problems of Globalistics”, the initiator and main organizer of the publica- tion of encyclopedias “Globalistics“ etc . Alexander Nikolayevich Chumakov — Professor of the Faculty of Global Processes, Lo- monosov Moscow State University . His lectures are very useful for students and graduate students, his advice is important for colleagues . The third edition of the Philosophy of Globalization is a kind of indicator of the demand for the work of Alexander Ni- kolayevich Chumakov, including at the international level . It is very important for the modern reader to find a reliable guidance in the stormy

Dimensional Change • by WelPruvNothingToLose, 2 days, 4 hours ago • Literature / Prose / Non-Fiction / Letters we realise life when we gain conscience I was never let to gain conscience in all ways. A man hates or loves the most affecting or affected person in his life, the person that makes us feel hatred or loved is our subject of life perhaps rebirth is a rebirth into another dimension as the subject of our previous life story, to fulfill the revenge or desire to master like the winner or sympathise the victim! In life we meet many minor subjects also, but some subject is the primary subject in our life, either choose the importance of your subjects carefully, or might be subjects in our life are always defined and fixed for seven consequent, concurrent lives. She or anyone defeats me in this world, I am her or that being in another dimension, it goes like for 7 lives or any odd levels, as all happenings emerge out from conscience, conscience is the only constant fluid of ethereal mist (if I am I, challenge is X):- I = X - I- X- I -X = I Our final challengers are we ourselves in another dimension.. Every one separated our from real vision is another dimensional for us, this proves that she is being suppressed somewhere by my reason in another dimension, and that dimension is her country, when I am suffering so badly and I know this that I am just a striked coin, the striker is the goal keeper of the other goal, my relation, or someone more primary, some of my ancestor.

QBism: Quantum Theory as a Hero's Handbook Christopher A. Fuchs1 and Blake C. Stacey1 1Physics Department, University of Massachusetts Boston, Boston, MA 02125, USA This article situates QBism among other well-known interpretations of quantum mechanics. QBism has its roots in personalist Bayesian probability theory, is crucially dependent upon the tools of quantum information, and in latest developments has set out to investigate whether the physical world might be of a type sketched in the philosophies of pragmatism, pluralism, nonre- ductionism, and meliorism. Beyond conceptual issues, the technical side of QBism is focused on the mathematically hard problem of finding a good representation of quantum mechanics purely in terms of probabilities, without amplitudes or Hilbert-space operators. The best candidate repre- sentation involves an entity called a symmetric informationally complete quantum measurement, or SIC. Contemplation of it gives a way to think of the Born rule as an addition to the rules of probability theory, applicable when an agent considers gambling on the consequences of her actions on the external world, duly taking into account a new universal capacity: namely, Hilbert-space dimension. The article ends by showing that the egocentric elements in QBism represent no imped- iment to pursuing quantum cosmology and even open up possibilities never dreamt of in the usual formulations. I. • Transformation of the Villain in Hollywood Şükrü SİM Istanbul University Faculty of Communication Department of Radio Television and Cinema
International Journal of Cultural and Social Studies (IntJCSS) December 2018 : Volume 4 (Issue 2) e-ISSN : 2458-9381ISSN Field : Communication Type : Review Article Received: 30.11.2018 - Accepted: 14.12.2018 Transformation Of The Villain In Hollywood Şükrü SİM Istanbul University Faculty of Communication Department of Radio Television and Cinema. Istanbul, TURKEY Email: [email protected] Abstract All kinds of films, from animation to comedy, live on conflict: the conflict between the good and the bad, the old and the new, or between other elements enhances humorous aspects in a comedy whereas the tension in a thriller. Film scenario would neither flow without the element of conflict nor can audience expectation be kept alive. For this reason, villains are required in films as much as heroes. “Villain”, existing since the birth of film, has constantly been in a struggle with the hero. In this fight, sometimes the hero and sometimes the villain seem to be winning. “Villains” are also based on a broad scale; some villains are like that by birth, some become villains due to the conditions, some like being bad, and some just cannot inhibit their instincts. No matter which type, in classical Hollywood narrative cinema – and in Turkish cinema that copied its basic structure from the former – the villain is condemned to lose. However, the weight of the villain in the film has been changing as an increasing trend since the 1960s; sometimes the characters selected as villains are pictured as the protagonists of the film and sometimes they defeat the good and win. Two reasons are pointed out for this increasing trend: the first one is the moderation regarding censorship laws and the second is the transformation in the expectation of the audience.
