4 Historic Exploration

• PL2551 previously held by Irish Base Metals, Riofinex, Minco, Irish Marine Oil, Aquitaine Mining and Midas Mineral Resources • Numerous bedrock and float gold occurrences, up to 935 g/t Au identified • Exploration carried out primarily in the Ballyowen- Ballygarrett and Kilmichael areas • Notable drill intercepts of 0.72m@10 g/t, [email protected] g/t and [email protected] g/t Au • Limited follow-up work

5 Structural Control on Mineralization

Structural control of mineralization: Intersection of secondary ENE- trending structures with main regional trend? Formation of mineralized corridors?

7 Knockbrandon

• Mineralized boulders returned gold values of 6.5, 4.8 and 2.1 g/t Au • Fine grained gold noted in panned concentrates • Shallow sampling by IMC has successfully delineated gold mineralized zones; coincident shallow soils and lithogeochemical anomalies • Mineralization appears related to second order ENE trending zones? – slightly oblique to main NE trending structures • Drilling by IMC (hole 2551/03) intersected 9.64 g/t Au over a 0.25 m interval (104.5-104.75 m)

10 Kilmichael

• Gold appears related to ENE-trending zone

• Historic exploration in the area returned gold assay values of 18.24 g/t Au from quartz vein samples 295, 190 and 32.9 g/t Au from mineralized boulders

• Low tenor anomalies identified by IMC (maximum values of 31, 23 and 22 ppb Au)

• Gold intersections of [email protected] g/t, [email protected] g/t, [email protected]/t (Minco, 1998) and [email protected] (IMC, 2012)

15 Ballyowen-Ballygarrett • Visible gold found with quartz in a shear zone • Abundant gold grains recovered from panned concentrates • Mineralized boulders returned gold values up to 935 g/t Au (Minco, 1998); IMC follow-up sampling returned 76.8 g/t Au • Deep overburden sampling returned maximum gold values of 2332, 1057, 768 and 656 ppb Au • Stream sediment sampling returned Gold grains from gold values of 110 and 256 ppb Au panned concentrates • Drilling intersected 0.7m@10 g/t, [email protected] g/t and [email protected] g/t Au

23 Recommendations

• Develop better understanding of the structural controls including the reprocessing of available airborne geophysics • Large soil geochemistry survey to cover 5 km untested area between Boley and Kilmichael • Define bedrock gold source through tracing of boulder train, stream source etc • Detailed prospecting at Boley and as follow-up to soil geochemistry survey

24 Proposed Soil Survey

Knockbrandon ENE-trending Au anomaly

Kilmichael & Ballyowen-Ballygarrett ENE-trending Au anomalies

Proposed area to be covered by soil geochemistry survey. This would encompass targets with known bedrock Au and Boley potentially reveal additional mineralized areas.
