Champions League Women The 20 teams participating in the 4th Round will be divided into four sub-groups (I-II-III-IV) of five teams each before the Drawing of Lots scheduled on 25 October 2019 as per the table below, which reflects the latest CEV Champions League Ranking and the number of teams per National Federation:

2. Form 02 – Organisation Information and Club Logos

Any team participating in the CEV Volleyball Champions League shall fill in the 02 Form and upload its logo and/or emblem via the “Club Area” of the CEV Database in two different sections: • Contact List • Team info

There are 2 different kinds of logos: • The club logo linked to the association to which it belongs to • The team emblem used for the running season. This emblem may include for instance the sponsor logo or other features All club logos shall be uploaded in the “Contact List” section of the CEV Database, whereas the team emblem must be uploaded in the “Team Info” section. If there is no team emblem, then the club logo should also be uploaded here as well. In the section “Team Info”, the team emblem shall be uploaded 5 times whatever format is used (.jpg, .ai,.eps) as follows: • One high resolution logo: 1200 pixels x 150dpi • Three image logos with the requested widths: 32 pixels, 100 pixels and 150 pixels. • One logo in vectors: no limitation for this file In the section “Contact List”, the club logo shall also be uploaded 3 times as follows: • One high resolution logo: 1200 pixels x 150dpi • the image logos with the requested width: 124 pixels x 150dpi • One logo in vectors: no limitation for this file

These logos will be made available via the CEV database to the opponents for promotional purposes as well as for television graphics. Missing logos have serious consequences to the corporate visibility and presentation of your club and the competitions on the CEV website and in the media and on television – starting with the European Volleyball Gala. Deadline to fill in the 02 Form and upload clubs’ logos and/or emblems no later than: Monday, 29 July 2019

3. CEV Official Balls

1. The official ball for the whole season will be the MIKASA V200W-CEV (Green/Yellow Ball).

2. The CEV decided to provide all participating clubs of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League with 30 MIKASA balls (V200W-CEV) bearing the current valid competition logo free of charge in terms of production and transportation.

3. These balls will be shipped directly by MIKASA to the respective National Federations which will be responsible for dispatching the balls to the various clubs. Please note that the CEV partner MIKASA is in charge for the delivery and the respective receiver for the custom clearance.

4. The MIKASA balls are also available via the MIKASA distributor network and each participating club takes the responsibility to have enough balls for their home matches.

5. A minimum of 14 balls per Team shall be provided during the warm-up before the match and 20 during each training session.

4. Form 04 – Registration of Players

All players wishing to participate in the 2019 European Cups, need to be registered by their respective club, under the supervision of their NF’s European Cups Responsible. The application for players’ licenses can only be performed via the CEV database on the CEV 04 form (Registration of Players). According to the CEV Competitions Regulations, in the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 the Player license may be removed from one CEV collective license in order to be included in another one as follows: 1. Between the 3rd round and the 4th round of the CEV Champions League; when there is an emergency, medical or exceptional reason which is approved by the CEV office. Only one Player licence may be removed. The new Player shall come from a club eliminated from

the CEV Champions League Volley and a fee shall be paid according to table 126.2.3 of the CEV Competitions Regulations. 2. Between the 4th round and the 1⁄4 finals of the CEV Volleyball Champions League; when there is an emergency, medical or exceptional reason which is approved by the CEV office. 5. Seminar

We would like to kindly inform you that the seminar for CEV Supervisors and clubs initially announced on the European Cups Official Communication No.1 has been cancelled.

However, the clubs participating in the 1st - 3rd round of the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 Men & Women are obliged to attend an online seminar that will be held on 4 September 2019, over CEV e-learning platform.

The clubs participating in the 4th round of the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 Men & Women will be informed about the upcoming seminar accordingly.

The CEV Champions League Volley 2020 Supervisors online seminar on the CEV e-learning platform will be on 5 September 2019.

The login details, link and instructions will be sent to all participants accordingly in a due time.

7. 4th Round Drawing of Lots

The Drawing of Lots for the teams playing 4th Round will be held on 25th of October in Sofia (BUL).

8. CEV Cloud

New Branding

As already announced, the CEV has introduced a completely new branding and corporate identity on 18 May 2019.

For the upcoming season all branding materials and layouts have been changed and need to be implemented by all the clubs registered for the CEV Champions League Volley 2020.

CEV online Competition storage

The CEV created also a new tool for an optimized file sharing and storage solution that all clubs can use with direct access to all resources via a web service interface.

1. Download, which contains all necessary files you need to use for producing any possible material https://cloud.cev.eu/url/downloadfiles

2. Upload, where all files to be approved before producing must be uploaded by the clubs. https://cloud.cev.eu/url/uploadfiles

Both, “Download” and “Upload” folders are structured - by season and competition. For CEV Champions League Volley 2020 choose the folder CLV 2020. The CEV Cloud supports Drag and Drop file managing. No logins or passwords are needed.

9. CL-S Form (Request for approval of Sponsors)

The CL-S form allows Clubs in the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 to receive the CEV approval for their sponsors' advertisement as well as provide the CEV with information on the sponsors. All teams shall fill in the CL-S form with all sponsors contracted for the CEV Champions League Volley 2020.

The CL-S form will be available online in the CEV Database as from 25 August 2019.

All clubs have to duly fill, save, close and send the CL-S form to CEV via the CEV database no later than 21 days (3 weeks) before their 1st match in the Competition. Approval of team uniform sponsors shall only be given if the sponsors are uploaded and approved in the CLS form beforehand.

10. Team Uniforms

When ordering the team uniforms, clubs must make sure they are produced according to the CEV Volleyball Competitions Regulations and CEV Organisation Guidelines for Clubs.

CEV has reserved a set number of product categories for advertisement during the CEV Champions League Volley 2020, however this rule does not apply to team uniforms and the choice of sponsors is free, except for betting partners and ball manufacturers. Clubs are allowed to have sponsors from the CEV protected product categories on their team uniforms, except for the two aforementioned categories.

However, all sponsors appearing on the uniform shall first be approved by CEV through the CL- S form.

Before production and in order to seek approval, teams are required to upload the pictures of their 2 sets of uniforms, shirt and short with a front side and back side view, produced in colour, via the CEV Cloud by Monday 16 September 2019 at the latest.

COMPETITION BADGE: The CEV Champions League Volley 2020 badge has to figure on the team uniform as from the first match, namely on the right sleeve for jerseys with sleeves or on the upper right chest for jerseys without sleeves.

Clubs have two options: 1°) Order the badges via the CEV Office. The deadline for ordering such badges is set for Monday 19 August 2019, by sending an email with the exact number of badges to: [email protected].

2°) Produce the badges using the heat transfer method. Teams using the heat transfer method have to download the new logo from the CEV Cloud.

The dimensions of the logo are as follows: 70mm x 79 mm (width x height)

All winners from previous Champions League editions have the right to use the Competition logo badge with stars. The number of stars indicates how many times the respective team has won the CEV Champions League Volley.

The colours of uniforms required for each match will be communicated by the CEV via the 09 forms on the CEV Database.

Teams will be responsible for bringing the correct set of uniform and presenting it at the Preliminary Inquiry. If either team does not bring the required uniform, or there is a color clash, the home team must change their uniform. Failure to do this will result in a financial sanction being issued.

11. Technical court layout

The technical court layout (incl. arrangement of the control area) is available in the download area of the CEV Database.

12. Competition Brand Pack, Layouts and Files

The complete competition Brand Pack will be found on the CEV Cloud. The Brand pack includes all Competition logo options, Volleymark, competition pattern and all files or layouts for creating mandatory material.

The official brochure / official programme is not mandatory to be produced (Recommended layout will be available in the download area) in case any club wishes to produce a brochure. However, all the relevant information, namely CEV logo, competition title and logo, CEV Official partner’s logo must be included.

With respect to the information written Official Communication N° 1, article 13, the content for all CEV positions will be confirmed by Friday 20 September 2019.

All files to be approved must be uploaded by the clubs into the respective club’s folder using the following link: https://cloud.cev.eu/url/uploadfiles well before using, publishing or printing.

13. Net Post & Referee chair advertising

Shall be without advertising.

14. Net

CEV will ship a net with the new branding to all the teams participating in the Champions League Volley.

15. Commercial Court layout

The commercial rights distribution on the court is set up according to the information given in the Official Communication N°1 and the exact content on all CEV positions and further information will be communicated to all clubs by the aforementioned date.

16. LED System application

In order to use a dynamic advertisement system - LED system, clubs are required to submit the relevant LED system application form for approval to the CEV, via CEV cloud or to [email protected], no later than Monday 16 September 2019. This form will be available in your download area in the CEV Database. 17. TV Considerations

CEV’s sport media agency, the Sportradar Group, is currently in contact with participating clubs which already have a host broadcaster agreement for the next season. We would like again to emphasize the importance for each participating club to communicate with their domestic host broadcasters in regards of the match scheduling process to ensure the widest coverage and visibility for the CEV Champions League Volley 2020 season.

18. Marketing

The commercial rights distribution split, as announced in the Official Communication N°1, will be applied in all the layouts provided to the teams.
