Aditya Birla Minacs Limited ICRA has assigned a conditional rating of LAA+(SO)† [(pronounced as L double A Plus (Structured Obligation)], to the Pass Through Certificates (PTCs) issued by Novo VIII Trust – Archie, a Special Purpose Vehicle, with IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited (ITSL) as the Trustee. The PTCs are backed by proceeds of a Put Option written by Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited (ABNL / Put Option Provider) on certain zero coupon Compulsory Convertible Debentures (CCDs) issued by Aditya Birla MINACS Worldwide Limited (MINACS / Issuer). Instrument Maturity Amount (Rs. million) Conditional Rating Pass Through January 2012 2,500.00 LAA+(SO) Certificates The rating is conditional on fulfillment of all conditions under the structure, execution of the transaction documentations as vetted by ICRA, and an independent legal opinion on the transaction being furnished to ICRA. The rating is based on the credit quality of the ‘Put Option’ provider, the structured payment mechanism and the integrity of the legal structure. About the transaction structure MINACS, a 88.28% subsidiary of ABNL, has issued CCDs of the face value of Rs. 2500 million. The CCDs are convertible into common equity shares of the Issuer as per the conversion factor on the compulsory conversion date, which is at the end of 60 months from the issue date. The CCDs carry an embedded Put / Call Option in favour of ABNL, exercisable at the end of 24, 36, 48 or 60 months from the CCD Issue Date. Upon exercise of the Put Option, face value of the CCDs together with a pre- determined yield (for the entire period) is payable by ABNL, in exchange for delivery of the CCDs. -

There are 66 mandals, 1540 revenue villages and 1394 Panchayats in the district. Business Process Outsourcing Newsletter AUGUST 2010 Editorial Dear Reader, There has been a growing interest amongst outsourcing service providers in the healthcare space, driven by the expected rise in outsourcing volumes due to the significant impact of healthcare reforms. Continuing the trend, the month of August saw another deal closure in the healthcare BPO space. The TriZetto Group, a leading healthcare information technology company to the healthcare payer industry, announced that it has acquired Tela Sourcing, a Baltimore-based business process outsourcing services company that offers combined U.S. and India-based outsourcing capabilities to the healthcare industry. In Europe, Teleperformance, a global leader in the outsourced contact center market, announced the acquisition of UK-based call center service provider beCogent. In another transaction announced in the call center space, Alorica Inc. and Florida-based PRC, LLC, both leaders in the customer contact solutions industry, announced that the parties have entered into a strategic agreement wherein Alorica has become the parent company of PRC, LLC. Significant contracts awarded during the month included, Genpact being awarded a seven-year mortgage services contract with MERSCORP, the mortgage finance industry's electronic loan registry system. In a major domestic BPO contract announced during the month, Global Group, one of India's leading business groups engaged in the Network Services and Telecom Tower Infrastructure business, engaged Infosys BPO, the business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, to provide services with regard to setting up of its Shared Service Centre. In another publication, WNS, a leading provider of global business process outsourcing services, announced a multiyear contract to deliver analytics and customer care services for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). -
