3:Sun Belt Coach of the Year (1997, 2005, 2007) Tony Robichaux Head Coach ABCA South Central Coach 613-412-1 (18th season at UL) 3: 876-589-1 (26th season overall) of the Year (1999, 2000, 2010) Tony Robichaux, one of the youngest head coaches in Division I history to reach 500 career victories, has been at the helm of the Ragin' Cajuns baseball program since 1995. In the 2009 regular season finale at New Orleans, he earned his 800th career victory, Pitching staff has led Sun joining an elite list of just 28 active NCAA Division I coaches with 800 or more lifetime 9: wins. In 2010, Robichaux guided Louisiana to one of the most remarkable second half runs in recent memory, finishing the 2010 regular season with a 23-4 mark which Belt in ERA in nine of the last included a 17-1 record in Sun Belt play that vaulted the Cajuns to a conference title. Last season, Robichaux posted his 600th win in a Cajuns uniform when Louisiana topped 12 seasons (2000-11)

The Ragin’ Cajuns’ pitching staff produced the lowest ERA in the Sun Belt six consecutive seasons from 2005-2010 as Cajuns skipper (17 total) and has claimed the league’s top ERA in nine of the 12 seasons since 2000. Robichaux, the all-time victories leader at Louisiana, has guided the Ragin’ Cajuns to eight NCAA Regional appearances, two NCAA Super Regional appearances and the Season at UL 2000 College World Series. His teams have also clinched four Sun Belt Conference 18th: regular season crowns and one Sun Belt Conference Tournament title. In 2000, Robichaux guided one of the best Cajuns baseball teams in school history to arguably the school's most memorable season. In Omaha, the Cajuns tied a CWS record 24:Entered 2012 as one of by a first-time participant with two wins. Before arriving at UL in 1995, Robichaux served as head coach at McNeese State for only 24 active DI head coaches eight seasons, leading the Cowboys to a 263-177 record. He is married to the former Colleen Dailey, and they have three children - Ashley, Justin and Austin. They also have with 800-plus career victories two grandchildren, Lon Paul and Ava Grace.
