ELIGIBILITY: a) Professionals who bring an amateur to the pro-am; *** b) 10 Pre Q Spots; c) 5 invitations granted to South African Transformation Players, in terms of the Sunshine Tour Members General Regulations; d) 5 Sunshine Tour tournament invitations; e) 2 Affiliate Member Invitations; f) Balance of the field made up of players off the 2021/2022 Sunshine Tour Exemption Category Rankings, excluding invitations and pre q spots.

Eligibility Notes: (i) Professionals will be asked to get an amateur to play with them in the Pro-Am at R15 000 per person. There will be 40 pro-am spots available for sale. 20 spots will be given to the sponsor. The first 40 professionals to get amateur partners confirmed (and paid up) will be exempt for the tournament. Should you be nominated to play in the pro-am, but did not source the amateur yourself, you will not be exempt, but will need to be exempt according to the category rankings. A total of 60 professionals will play in the pro-am. (ii) If there is a lot of interest from amateurs, we can extend the pro-am by an additional 15 amateurs

This alternate allocation will be repeated until all such exempt dual Members are allocated to one Tour or the other (ii) In the event that one Tour is unable to provide a full field within the agreed exemption categories, then the remaining spots will be filled by reserves from the other Tour. FORMAT: 72 holes strokeplay played over 3 courses. Teams consist of 1 professional and 1 amateur.

There will be 2 competitions running concurrently. Pro- individual and Team best net score on each hole

All teams will play each of the 3 courses over the first three days. A cut will then be made to the leading 60 professionals and ties. Additionally, there will be a cut to the leading 24 teams. The fourth and final round for those making the cut will then be played on the Montagu course

NOTE: There will be some professionals making the cut by virtue of their team position only (having missed the professional cut of the top 60 and ties). These professionals will then only be competing for the team prize fund on the final day.
