Slater hasn’t made a movie for R Aquite some time, the truth is he has, quite a few in fact, they just haven’t been very good. He played the invisible killer in this year’s Hollow Man II, which remained invisible on the big screen and went straight to DVD. In 2005, he headlined the tepid political thriller The Deal, the bland videogame adaptation Alone in the Dark and the much-maligned Mindhunters. Not exactly the list of movies you keep in your wallet in case you forget what to rent
