Extension of NWFB Route 702 to Yau Yat Tsuen Bus Terminus

(4 July 2011, )Effective 5 July 2011 (Tuesday), New World First Bus (“NWFB”) will implement new service arrangements on Route 702. The Route which departs from Hoi Lai Estate will omit Road, Tokin Street and Estate, and operate via Un Chau Street, Castle Peak Road, Tai Po Road, Pak Tin Street, Tai Hang Tung Road, To Yuen Street and Tat Chee Road after Yen Chow Street, and extend its service to . The departures from Yau Yat Tsuen Bus Terminus will operate via Tat Chee Road, To Yuen Street, Lung Chiu Street, Tai Hang Tung Road, Woh Chai Street, Nam Cheong Street, Un Chow Street, Yen Chow Street, Yen Chow Street West and Sham Mong Road to Hoi Lai Estate. The frequency will be every 10-20 minutes and the full fare is HK$3.70. Moreover, a section fare of HK3.30 from Yen Chau Street to will be provided for the Nam Cheong-bound.

On the same day, to facilitate passengers travelling between the original destinations of Route 702, a new section fare on Route 796C will be introduced. Passengers using the same octopus card can enjoy a two-way section fare of HK3.40 from Nam Cheong to Wing Lung Street for the Tseung Kwan O-bound service and a section fare of the same amount from Camp Street to Nam Cheong Station for the Nam Cheong-bound.
