The FRA SELEX Launch event will be held at the Council of the European Union in (, Press room) on 2 June 2015.

SECURITY

Access to the premises of the Council is restricted. All participants will therefore be required to show at their entrance the following documents: • ID card • Confirmation email • Copy of the agenda

You are encouraged to arrive early in order to undergo security checks to avoid delays due to the expected large number of participants!

PUBLICATIONS

You are welcome to bring your publications or any other material that you would like to share with your colleagues. A few tables will be available close to the plenary room for this purpose. Please feel free to bring it along with you on the day.

CATERING

On Tuesday 2 June coffee break and sandwich lunch will be served at the premises of the Council (Café Autriche).

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE

The premises of the Council of the EU is located in Brussels' European district next to Schuman roundabout. Please beware that you will not have access to the Council's car parks and that there are not many parking spaces in the European district. Additionally, due to security reasons, car access may be restricted. Thus, we strongly advise you to use public transport. • By metro Metro lines 1 and 5: Schuman station. For further inquiries, please visit STIB. You may also check the metro plan attached at the end of this document.

• By bus Buses 12 and 21: from Brussels National Airport in Zaventem to Schuman (30-min ride). Please notice that from Monday to Friday 8 pm the Airport Line is operated as an express service with number 12 and only serves the major stops. On weekdays after 8 pm, and the whole day on Saturday, Sunday and holidays the Airport Line is operated as a regular service with number 21, serving all stops. Buses 22, 27, 28, 36, 60, 64: bus stop in the Schuman area. In order to save time and money, buy your ticket from the GO ticket vending machines before boarding. These machines accept Maestro bank cards, credit cards and coins. Tickets bought from the driver are more expensive. For further inquiries, please visit STIB or download the STIB app for iPhone or Android (available in English). • By train Brussels Midi, Brussels Central and Brussels Nord railway stations are connected to Brussels Schuman train station in the immediate vicinity of the Council's headquarters. • By taxi Possible, but due to security measures car access could be restricted. We therefore strongly advice to use public transport, if necessary.
