Product description The Dell EMC Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI) for VMware vSphere Client is a plug-in for VMware vCenter. It enables administrators to perform Dell EMC storage management tasks from vCenter. VSI supports the following Dell EMC storage systems:

l Dell EMC Unity

l Dell EMC VMAX All Flash/PowerMax

l Dell EMC XtremIO

l Dell EMC PowerStore Dell EMC Simple Support Matrix lists supported versions of Dell EMC storage systems and software. Note: VSI 8.x versions support the vSphere Client (HTML5) only and do not yet include all the features in the previous versions of VSI 7.x. Therefore, you may run VSI 8.x and 7.x in the same VMware environment if the arrays and operating systems are supported.

New features and changes This section provides a list of features that are supported in this release. This release adds the following new features:

Fixed problems List of issues that were fixed in this release.

l If the version of XtremIO XMS is lesser than XMS 6.3, increase datastore capacity fails with error.

l The X (Delete) icon is enabled when you choose storage systems that are registered by you and also the ones that are registered by other users.

l When you create a datastore, the following error message is displayed:400 vCenter session cookie is missing Status code: 400, Bad Request
