ATTENTION PARENTS! All students who register for Friday Fun trips MUST ride the ICC Cougar Bus from the East Peoria campus to the Friday Fun location and then return to the East Peoria campus. This is necessary for the safety of our students. The bus will depart from the East Peoria campus at 8:15 a.m. and will return by 4:30 p.m. For certain trips, students will arrive back at the East Peoria cam - pus before 4:30 p.m. In these instances, ICC staff will engage students in activities on campus until 4:30 p.m. Students will be supervised at all times and will be walked back out to the pick-up/drop-off tent by ICC staff. Parents must be able to pick up their children from the East Peoria campus by 4:30 p.m. Space is limited for all Friday Fun trips, so make sure to register early. continued ➔

27 Geocaching GradES 4-8 date: Friday, June 15 Time: 8:15 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Location: Wildlife Prairie State Park • Hanna City, IL Cost: $40 Join us as we explore the world of Geocaching. Geocaching is a fun and excit - ing activity where you use a GPS (global positioning system) unit to locate cache boxes or what some call treasure boxes. During this trip, we will teach you how to use the units, insert data, and use the units to locate a variety of cache boxes through the park. Most of the day will be spent outdoors so dress for the weather, wear comfortable closed toed shoes, and be sure to bring water. All supplies for this class including GPS units will be provided. Lunch will also be provided. Students must ride the ICC Cougar bus from the East Peoria campus to the Friday Fun location and return to the East Poria campus.

Horseback Riding GradES 4-10 date: Friday, June 22 Time: 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students will return to ICC at 2:00 p.m. and spend the afternoon engaged in activities with ICC staff. Parents can pick up their children at the CFK pick-up/drop off tent at 4:30 p.m. Location: rockin’ P ranch • Pekin, IL Cost: $40 Come join us at Rockin’ P Ranch in Pekin for some horseback riding. You will learn about horseback riding safety, ride a horse along a trail and create a craft during your time at the ranch. All riders must be age 8 or older. Helmets are mandatory for children who ride. The ranch can provide helmets at no charge or riders can bring their own. Liability waivers must be completed and signed by parents/guardians for all children before the trip. It is recommended that riders wear long pants and a heeled shoe or boot. Absolutely NO flip- flops are allowed on rides. also, please make sure to bring water for breaks and please bring a sack lunch from home for this trip. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the great outdoors on horseback! 28 & a Movie GradES 4-10 date: Friday, July 13 Time: 8:15 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Students will return to ICC at 2:00 p.m. and spend the afternoon engaged in activities with ICC staff. Parents can pick up their children at the CFK pick-up/drop off tent at 4:30 p.m. Location: Landmark recreation Center • Peoria, IL Cost: $23 Let’s have a great day of bowling and watching a movie at Landmark Recreation Center in Peoria. You will watch a movie in the morning and enjoy popcorn and a beverage. After that, you’ll enjoy a lunch of pizza, chips and soda and bowl two games! The movie will be one that is currently in theaters and will be age appropriate for the group that goes on the trip. This is a wonderful way to beat the heat. A fun time is sure to be had by all! Students must ride the ICC Cougar bus from the East Peoria campus to the Friday Fun location and return to the East Peoria campus.

Space Mission GradES 4-8 date: Friday, July 20 Time: 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Students will return to ICC at 2:00 p.m. and spend the afternoon engaged in activities with ICC staff. Parents can pick up their children at the CFK pick-up/drop off tent at 4:30 p.m. Location: Challenger Learning Center • Normal, IL Cost: $45 Have you ever wondered what it’s like to go on a space mission? On this trip we’ll be going to the Challenger Learning Center in Normal. We will be given a space mission to rendezvous with a comet using state-of-the-art mission control and spacecraft. We will be split up into teams with each team responsible for fulfilling a specific part of the mission. After a short pre-mission briefing, you will take your place in the simulator to take control of an exciting mission. What happens next is up to you! You will need to use different subjects like science, technolo - gy, engineering and math to succeed. Please make sure to bring a sack lunch from home for this trip. This is the trip for you if you’ve always wanted to know what it’s like in space!
