The students performed at the Maryland Folk Festival in September and we are looking to have a group perform at some of the holiday shows as well. Speaking of our holiday shows there are several coming up in December. Mike and Shawna Taylor will be hosting the FAME Holiday show at the FSK Mall this year on December 7th from 11-5 pm. We will also be performing a show of holiday tunes at the Performing Arts Factory on December 14th from 7-9 pm and lastly FAME will be sponsoring a holiday show at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. Stay tune for more information. Don’t forget about our weekly open mic at Serendipity from 7-9 pm, and our monthly open mic at Dublin Roasters the 4th Sunday from 1-3 pm. Finally, we are looking for board members and members at large to assist with events, hosting open mics, leading song circles, etc. be involved and make FAME a leading organization for music in the Frederick and surrounding areas.
