AMS 7th Grade Nautical Nights Overnight Maritime Camping Program Climb aboard for an epic adventure on the decks of the largest collection of historic naval ships in the world! We will begin our journey in 1941, when the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor thrust the into the Second World War. During our visit, we will explore five National Historic Landmarks: Massachusetts, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., Lionfish, and the only two motor boats on display in the world, PT 617 and 796. Along with the Hiddensee, a Russian-built missile , we will travel through time as we move from ship to ship- all the way from WWII, through the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, to the , and beyond! What to bring

Dress for the weather

• The bunk areas are heated in the winter and early spring however campers should dress as they do for a typical outdoor camping experience. Pack waterproof outer wear if the forecast calls for rain as we will be up on deck at times. • Dress in layers and have an outdoor jacket as we will be up on deck and the ships can feel damp and cool. • Sneakers or other closed toed shoes required.
