PRESS RELEASE: Chicago, IL Dec 21, 2009 – In the past decade there has been two constants in the world of Dance Music; one is Music Plant Records and the other is Georgie Porgie. As such, it should come as no surprise that Georgie Porgie has been named to Billiboard Magazine’s TOP 10 DANCE ARTISTS OF THE DECADE LIST. Georgie is only one of two males in the Top 10 (the other being Enrique Iglesias), and enjoys the company of Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, Mariah, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Kim English, and Kristine W. However, Georgie has accomplished this without the benefit of one thing…big financial label backers. GP..one man with a dream and bucket loads of talent. Since the early 90’s Porgie has done it all. Besides being a chart-topping recording artist, he’s a producer and songwriter, top-notch remixer, and head of the venerable Music Plant Group, a powerhouse record label for over 18 years. He has performed sold out shows for his millions of fans the world over, plus written and produced works for such iconic performers as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Crystal Waters, Spice Girls, Mary J.     Garage House Music whats up with that Future funk is a sample-based advancement of Nu-disco which formed out of the Vaporwave scene and genre in the early 2010s. It tends to be more energetic than vaporwave, including elements of French Home, Synth Funk, and making use of Vaporwave modifying techniques.
