The former Bellwood Quarry property is slated to Marietta Blvd NW become Westside Reservoir Park, Atlanta’s largest 32 greenspace at approximately 300 acres. At the heart of this park will be a water reservoir (for- merly the quarry’s pit), that spans 45 acres and is Westside Reservoir Park up to 450 feet deep in places. In addition to being an aesthetic centerpiece, the reservoir will increase the city’s water capacity by 20 or more days. Nat- C rso ural paths and landscaped trails will intertwine on Hollowellpark grounds, and plans call for an eventual spur trail from the BeltLine to connect Westside Park to the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna. ove Park
