26 WACFL ANNUAL REPORT independent audit report to THE MEMBERS OF THE WEST AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Auditor’s Opinion

In my opinion:

The financial report of WEST AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY FOOTBALL LEAGUE is in accordance with the Associations Incorporation Act 1987 including:

(i) giving a true and fair view of the Association’s financial position as at 31 October 2015 and of their performance and cash flows for the year ended on that date; and

(ii) complying with the Australian Accounting Standards.

The financial report also complies with International Financial Reporting Standards as disclosed in Note 1.

Emphasis of Matter

As is common for organisations of this type, it is not practical for WEST AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY FOOTBALL LEAGUE to maintain an effective system of internal control over the cash takings until their initial entry in the accounting records. Accordingly, my testing in relation to these activities was limited to amounts recorded.

In my opinion, except for the effects of such adjustments as might have been determined to be necessary had the limitation discussed in the preceding paragraph not existed, the financial report presents fairly in accordance with the accounting policies described in Note 1 to the financial report and the results of its operations and its cash flows for the year.

LLOYD SCOTT Director Byers Scott Pty Ltd
