The Colorado Rockies snapped their 11-game losing streak against the Mets, winning their first game vs. New York since May 3, 2014 … the two runs allowed is their fewest allowed at home this season … they are now 2-2 on the homestand, 3-2 over their last five games and 5-5 over the last 10 contests … the win was the Rockies’ 1,000th in Denver … they are now 1000-847 at home since the franchise began to play in 1993.

Jon Gray earned the first win of his career … pitched seven innings and allowed two runs on five hits with one walk and eight ... tied a career-high seven with a career-high 105 pitches … is now 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA (20.0 IP, 4 ER), 10 hits, four walks and 24 strikeouts in his last three starts … recorded his first Major League hit, a single up the middle in the bottom of the fifth inning

Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a and RBI to extend his season-long hitting streak to 10 games … is batting .410 (16-for-39) with six runs, four doubles, two home runs and seven RBI over the streak … has recorded three hits in two consecutive games … since being activated from the disabled list on April 29, is batting .364 (20-for-55) with nine runs, four doubles, two homers and eight RBI.

Trevor Story went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI … is batting .333 (14-for-42) with five runs, five doubles, one home and eight RBI in his last 10 games … in his last 15, is batting .308 (20-for-65) with nine runs, six doubles, one , three home runs and 14 RBI.

Mark Reynolds went 1-for-4 to extend his season-high hitting streak to eight games … is batting .394 (13-for-33) during the streak with five runs, two doubles and five RBI.

Mets Notes

The had their11-game winning streak against the Rockies … the streak was their second-longest against one team in franchise history ... was only their fourth loss of the season when they score first (19-4) … they are now 4-5 on their season-high 11-game, three-team road trip to San Diego (2-2), Los Angeles (2-2) and Colorado (0-1) … they are batting .195 (57-for-293) on the trip with 31 walks and 88 strikeouts.
