rojekt GISEE financiran je na temelju ugovora PIST-2001-37994 u ovkriu petog programa Europske komisije, a zapoèet je 1. rujna 2002. godine. GISEE se bavi infrastrukturom prostornih podataka u jugoistoènoj Europi. Krajnji mu je cilj stvoriti opsežnu dokumentaciju o infrastrukturi prostornih podataka u Albaniji, Bosni i Hercegovini, Bugarskoj, Hrvatskoj, Makedoniji, Rumunjskoj, Turskoj i Jugoslaviji, koja æe obuhvatiti podatke, zainteresirane strane i primjene. Analiza æe prikazati tehnologije GIS-a, nedostatke i potrebu za zapreke i dobre strane pri upotrebi i razvijanju normiranjem i harmonizacijom radnih postupaka.
