Our Lady of the Hills by appointment. Palm Sunday As we celebrate Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion, we are reminded that Lent is coming to close and the Resurrection is nearing. In one week, we will celebrate Easter Sunday. Pray that the Lord allow you to accompany him serenely during these Easter mysteries and you may emerge from them renewed in faith, hope and charity. Palm Sunday is a moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The Feast commemorates Jesus’ Triumphal entry in to Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four Gospels. Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week, the last week of the Christian solemn season of Lent that precedes the arrival of Eastertide. A triumph was a ceremonial and celebratory procession through the streets of a city.
