Fewzion system requirements (for desktop / laptop users)

Fewzion isn't software you need to install. Instead, it runs on the you normally use to access web pages on the internet. Use this page to find out what browser and system settings you need to be able access Fewzion, and what else you should do to get the best possible user experience.

A PDF document reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print Fewzion’s reports, unless you are using Chrome which has built-in support for PDF documents.

Supported browsers Fewzion runs on any of the following browsers, however we highly recommend you use IE11+ or with Fewzion (why?).

JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled.

8+ (known issues with IE8 & IE9)  Google Chrome 20+  20+ (PC, Mac)  4+  11+ (PC, Mac)

Operating system Fewzion is accessed through a web browser, so it can be said that Fewzion is (and hardware) agnostic, much like you would expect from any other web page you access through your web browser. Fewzion can be accessed from any current Windows, Mac or Linux based computer.

More specifically Fewzion is known to work in the following operating systems

 Windows 98 (or greater) (known drag and drop issue with Windows 8)  Mac OS X v10.5 (or greater)

Screen resolution Screens in Fewzion are designed to make the most of your browser’s window size (how?), so your user experience in Fewzion will be enhanced by an increased screen resolution. Fewzion’s minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels, however we highly recommend a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (or above) for the optimum user expedience.

Hardware (your computer) Fewzion is accessed through a web browser, so it can be said that Fewzion is hardware (and operating system) agnostic, much like you would expect from any other web page you access through your web browser. We highly recommend a computer with 2 or more cores and 500 Mb of available RAM for the optimum user expedience.

Network Thanks to the capabilities of modern browsers Fewzion has only a small network footprint which enables it to be responsive through an average broadband internet connection (e.g. ADSL 1, 3G, ISDN, etc.). However for an optimum experience in a multi-user environment we recommend ADSL 2/2+ or 4+ mbps fiber optic internet connection.

Other important factors are network latency and reliability, so in the event that you don’t have access to a reliable high speed broadband connection, Fewzion can be installed within your local area network. FAQ
