Radosław Żydowicz / UMŁ Polska premiera ponad 300 eksponatów zaprojektowanych przez znanych na całym świecie projektantów mody odbędzie się 26 kwietnia o godz. 18. Jednak już dziś w łódzkim muzeum zaprezentowano osiem sylwetek z wystawy "Christian Dior i ikony paryskiej mody z kolekcji Adama Leja". Były oryginalne stroje, kapelusze, torebka z latarką oraz perfumy z 1947 roku w słynnym flakonie przypominającym amforę. - Dlaczego akurat osiem manekinów? Otóż Christian Dior uwielbiał symbolikę i "8" jest taką jego szczęśliwą liczbą. Ósemka jest nieskończonością oraz przypomina sylwetkę kobiecą i do niej też nawiązuje styl "New Look"oraz prezentowane perfumy Miss Dior - podkreślał właściciel kolekcji Adam Leja, dzięki któremu Centralne Muzeum Włókiennictwa w Łodzi ma niezwykłą okazję przypomnieć dokonania Christiana Diora, a także powojennych paryskich mistrzów haute couture. Wystawa składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza ma być poświęcona wyłącznie kreacjom spod znaku domu mody Dior. Prezentowane będą oryginalne stroje, ale także uzupełniające je akcesoria - kapelusze, buty, jak również biżuteria. Będzie to swoista podróż przez całą historię tego domu mody, ukazująca, jak interpretował on w swoich strojach tendencje pojawiające się w nieustannie zmieniającej się rzeczywistości kolejnych dziesięcioleci. Ciekawostką będzie oryginalny autograf Christiana Diora i pierwsze perfumy oraz projekty Diora. Szerszy kontekst prezentacji nadaje druga część wystawy. Ukaże ona najważniejsze powojenne tendencje światowego krawiectwa w interpretacji czołowych paryskich projektantów. Na ekspozycji zobaczyć będzie można kreacje haute couture największych domów mody Paryża takich jak: Jacques Heim, Nina Ricci, Jacques Griffe, Pierre Balmain, Jeanne Lanvin, Roger Vivier, Douillet Doucet, Jean Patou, Coco Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli, Hubert de Givenchy, Pierre Cardin, André Courrèges, Paco Rabanne, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior już w Łodzi. Projekty światowego 02-10-21 2/3 wizjonera mody zobaczysz w CMW Thierry Mugler, Jean Louis Scherrer, Ted Lapidus, Loris Azzaro, Philippe Venet, Olivier Guillemin, Franck Sorbier, Christophe Josse i wielu innych. Zaprezentowane chronologicznie projekty będą odzwierciedleniem zmian społecznych i kulturowych poszczególnych dekad, ukazując, jak silną rolę w wieloaspektowej dyskusji kolejnych epok zawsze odgrywała moda. Obecne będą też akcenty łódzkie w postaci kreacji Loli Prusac. - Zaprezentujemy żakiet projektu Loli Prusac, która była córką łódzkiego fabrykanta Maurycego A. Prussaka. Projektantka ta zaprojektowała pierwszą damską kolekcję dla domu mody Hermès - mówiła Aneta Dalbiak, dyrektor CMWwŁ. W ubiegłym roku dom mody Dior obchodził 70. rocznicę inauguracji swojej działalności. Jubileuszowe wystawy odbywały się w Paryżu czy Londynie. Centralne Muzeum Włókiennictwa wpisuje się w ten nurt postrzegania mody jako sztuki oraz honorowania najbardziej znaczących na świecie marek modowych i projektantów. Wszystkie zaprezentowane na wystawie obiekty są pokazane w Polsce po raz pierwszy. - Ta wystawa to sygnał, że zaczynamy profesjonalnie zajmować się modą w naszym muzeum. Będzie to jeden ze stałych punktów działalności w naszej placówce w przyszłości - informuje Joanna Dalbiak. Pierwszy i bardzo słynny pokaz marki Dior odbył się 12 lutego 1947 r. Przyniósł on Christianowi Diorowi międzynarodową sławę, a Paryżowi przywrócił miano światowej stolicy mody. Za sprawą zachwyconej śmiałymi i nieco teatralnymi projektami ówczesnej redaktorki Harper’s Bazaar, Carmel Snow, kolekcja otrzymała przydomek the new look. Hasło szybko stało się symbolem nowej epoki, odważnie odwoływało się do elegancji, podkreślającej wąską talię, biust i biodra. Kreacje Diora zrewolucjonizowały nie tylko modę, ale i kulturę. New Look stał się znakiem luksusu w kraju sparaliżowanym strajkami, kryzysami i traumą wojny. Siła mody zapoczątkowanej przez Diora tkwiła w tym, że wyrażała nadzieję na zmianę. Dior już w Łodzi.     Fashion Weeks in the Time of COVID 19 FBS C19 Issue 11: 17.07.20! Alexis Mabille There has always been a dichotomy between men’s wear and women’s wear. It is simply that fantasy and flamboyance is not a natural partner with the clothing that men wear. Sportswear, leisurewear, streetwear, and formalwear all serve a specific functionality within a man’s life. Clothes do the same for women but the packaging and narrative of, even a blazer, can be more inventive, and imaginative. Whatever the arguments may be about gender, men predominantly take a practical and facts-based approach to what they wear, women can be more impulsive in clothing purchases and be swayed by fashion, and it’s seasonal packaging. Today with gender blurring it should be that this is diminishing or open for discussion, you’d think? Well in terms of presenting the two collections during the last few days it’s clear that a sparkling narrative and a brilliant film is appropriate to showing women’s couture and a nicely styled Lookbook is the key option for men. There’s also surprisingly little womenswear or gender-neutral clothing featured during the menswear days. Tradition wins over new ideas? The other surprise is that edgy and off the wall/blue sky thinking/ outside the box isn’t where it’s at. The key to most of the offerings was clarity of presenting the clothes and communicating the pieces to the people sitting at home. How many designers and their teams dealt with the current situation was fascinating.
