News Release ASICS Concludes Agreement to Be Tokyo 2011 Official Sponsor

Kobe, (June 22, 2010) –– ASICS Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan; President Motoi OYAMA), has reached an agreement with the Organizing Committee to be an official sponsor of Tokyo Marathon 2011. The Marathon is managed by the Tokyo Marathon Foundation and will be held February 27, 2011. This will be the fifth consecutive year that ASICS has been an official sponsor, since the first Tokyo Marathon in 2007.

ASICS will provide goods for Tokyo Marathon 2011 support staff, volunteers, and participants, offer a variety of information and services, and help with Marathon-related events. Running-oriented social contribution activities (charity activities) are also planned. ASICS will sponsor a series of activities ahead of the Marathon to promote the event. ASICS is an official sponsor of a number of running events around the world, including the , the , and the Marathon.

ASICS will capitalize on its previous sponsorship experiences and use feedback from participant runners to support an even more successful Tokyo Marathon 2011.
