Description Dragon Lodge is a very pretty and deceptively spacious semi detached cottage dating from the 1850’s. It has been the subject of extension and sympathetic improvement, including most recently a new roof and replacement wooden double glazed windows. The accommodation is very well proportioned; the Chinese slate floor runs throughout the sitting room and dining room. The sitting room has four French windows and an attractive large open fireplace. The dining room has a pretty window seat surrounded by bookshelves. The kitchen is fitted with oak worktops and there is a charming bay window. On the first floor the bedrooms are all delightful and there is a wet room in addition to the ground floor bathroom. Access to a boarded loft is via a ladder in the middle bedroom. Externally a walled courtyard with covered passage links to the heated studio/office- part vaulted with some exposed flint walls. Gardens and Grounds A five bar gate leads to a contained parking area for several cars. On the south side of the house there is a superb decking area which overlooks an attractive pond containing mature Carp and Orfs. The remaining garden has areas of lawn interspersed with many specimen shrubs and trees. Beyond the parking area there are steps and a further terraced lawn to the workshop and garden shed draped in honeysuckle and a grapevine. The sizeable workshop has a 3 phase power supply and a wood burner.
