NSW TrainLink Trial coach service

Have your say

NSW TrainLink is consulting with local communities about a proposal to trial coach services connecting Wagga Wagga with Canberra.

It is expected the service would provide customers from Wagga Wagga and towns along the way with the opportunity to travel to Canberra, spend around six to seven hours there and travel back in the same day. The timetable has been designed to allow time for shopping, medical appointments, business activities and to visit family and friends. There are two potential routes between Wagga Wagga and Canberra. One route travels via and the other via Junee and . Depending on feedback from the community, both of these routes may be trialled on different days of the week. We are proposing to run the service at times that will also allow customers to connect with trains between Canberra and . This will provide customers in Wagga Wagga, Gundagai, Junee and Cootamundra, with another option when they can travel to and from Sydney. You can provide feedback on the proposed trials up until 30 November 2018. Details of how you can provide feedback and find out more about the trials are included in this newsletter.
